Things to come

i'm the wench if you're the cake ;)
I have high hopes for this organization, and trust me I still think this will all turn out great. Though this part might worry some people, I know you know what your doing, but some others might not.

Could you please elaborate on some of the reasons you do not consider this Inquisition Legitimate? I am honestly very curious about this.

No, they aren't, they have extreme power and control on many organizations because of their affiliation with all of the gods. Thus they could pray to Shalherana to prevent some lives from coming back.
While you don't quite have it completely accurate, you're on the right track!

And thank you very much, bro, for all your kind words. I do appreciate them.

bro those are quotes referring to the personal church structure of priests/acolytes/whatever- Which is exactly what you support...
Yeah but for example:
Scardrag founds Church xyz and gets proclaimed High priest of Ignis as Exalted (just an example) -- > How does that stand to Valo's church that probably has its very own high priests?
Or will all of our churches get separate high priests from the gods?

No one has been deemed "Exalted" yet. But in that situation, between Scardrac and Valonyx's hypothetical churches each of them will have equal opportunity for the position. Whoever makes it would be the go-to for the high priests of the other church, much like how Bishops go to the freakin' Pope.

Hehe, time to make Shoreless pregnant, I want a wet kid:D
Did I forget to mention, regarding specifically that, the offspring is generally bestowed upon the mortal "parent"? Oh, whoops. Looks like I did...

Edit: Lets not give too much thought to the whole baby-making process, for the child would likely be dumped on the mortal "parent" in a cradle and we can leave it at that.

well.

if we're talking about demigods...
it would be a good time to point out that the divines are so powerful they kind of don't adhere to our gender standards.
which means there is no gender restriction.

... im not implying anything...

“Something Vimes had learned as a young guard drifted up from memory. If you have to look along the shaft of an arrow from the wrong end, if a man has you entirely at his mercy, then hope like hell that man is an evil man. Because the evil like power, power over people, and they want to see you in fear. They want you to know you're going to die. So they'll talk. They'll gloat.

They'll watch you squirm. They'll put off the moment of murder like another man will put off a good cigar.

So hope like hell your captor is an evil man. A good man will kill you with hardly a word.”
A personal favourite:
“Dwarfs were not a naturally religious species, but in a world where pit props could crack without warning and pockets of fire damp could suddenly explode they'd seen the need for gods as the sort of supernatural equivalent of a hard hat. Besides, when you hit your thumb with an eight-pound hammer it's nice to be able to blaspheme. It takes a very special and strong-minded kind of atheist to jump up and down with their hand clasped under their other armpit and shout, "Oh, random-fluctuations-in-the-space-time-continuum!" or "Aaargh, primitive-and-outmoded-concept on a crutch!”
@Faelin this is one of the many reasons why you must read Terry Pratchett.

Oh also- @Michcat
May I assume that Ced's worship to Theodra continues as normal? As in, he does his usual stuff, like he's done for the past few years (but now with more snow), and receives no direct communication or response. Or would he suddenly find lightning bolts zapping him off the mountainside for being an apprentice? I know that excommunicated only means excluded from the high church and would assumedly include the lack of contact with their patron deity, but would he feel anything? Any sense of disapproval, etc, or would it feel like business as usual?

Oh jeeze, I figured I would miss something in the flood.

I'm sure Ced is experiencing the usual stuff he usually does, business as usual - in that being there doesn't seem to be anyone listening. The sort of developments regarding the divine law will become more apparent all in good time. No lightening bolts yet :p
