Two questions. Is the first death of your character still a revival no matter what?
And in the rolling- let’s say Asero has 5 deaths for some weird reason. If you roll a d20-5 and get 3, does that mean he is permadead? Since it is less than the number of deaths.

To answer your first part, yes, its guaranteed, unless you wait too long. For the second part, I believe so, only if you get a negative number, then it is a perma-dead

I believe it's based on if you get a negative number.

Regarding wounds - would the ones that caused the death be healed fully, as if they had never been there, but other, older ones that were not related to it be left alone?

EDIT:

Additional question - while in the caves as a spirit or whatever for forum RP, does the spirit keep whatever items they had on them as they died?

First question.
All wounds gained from the day you die are healed.

Second question.
Yes, you keep everything you had on your person as you died.

How does one get into contact with the Sisters to get a higher priority and swifter revival? I remember something like this when I had stalked and wandered the forums.

It was a system that wasn’t often used; now defunct.
