If there's space, can I ask for a tentative spot? It's fine if there's not enough loot for an extra; I just haven't had the chance to participate in an event yet and would like to give it a shot. (That said, I have absolutely no idea how this works, so any pointers would be greatly appreciated.) I don't know yet whether I'll be able to attend, but I'd like to try!
