HollowNews! Issue 11 Sunday 20th May 2012
As you walk across the cracked roads of Port Silver, you notice the corpse of the mailman, sprawled across the pavement. In his satchel, is the last copy of the HollowNews. You reach out for it, and notice that it's covered in blood and scribbles. Your hands, now drenched in the scarlet blood of the postman begin to flick through the paper, reading about the events happening. Suddenly, a dark shadow flickers past your vision. You look up, and nothing is to be seen. Again, another shadow flies behind you. You turn around....nothing. Then, suddenly, the sky turns dark, more shadows fly out from the darkness. Your rotate on your spot, still clutching the paper. Then, flame bursts through the sky, and a dark, cloaked figure appears. You have no choice, you begin to run.

New wiki, new ToC, updated rules.
We have moved to a new wikia and moved everything over from the old wiki. This wikia will be much easier to use for regular players. I'd like to emphasize how much we need the entire community to participate in the wikia and to make it grow and flourish !

I have updated our Tome of Citizenship. It now includes all the necessary information for the server. We are working on a Survival Guide for new players to introduce them to our server. Please have a read and point out mistakes if you see them.

Most important of all, we have updated our list of rules. Instead of dropping a dusty fat old tome on our players it has been simplified into a more common sense type of thing. Have a good read though, because we have removed many old rules and modified a few !

Introducing the Council of Altera

For sometime now a Council of Altera has existed. This was once a place worthy of only the High Kings themselves!

All that is about to change!

The Council is now opening its doors to any player or admin via an invitation. Invitations are sent out to only a small selected few players who take the time to apply and are chosen by the Council members.

As a chosen member of the Council of Altera you will be shown great respect among the creative team and help shape the server by putting forward and discussing ideas with other Council members and participating in large scale server projects. You will have access to a special area of our forums to discuss such...

Advertising your region or house.
There has been some confusion about advertising your towns in the past. Towns are now since the new plugin called regions and/or houses.

We have only two rules regarding this:
  • You are not allowed to actively recruit in the OOC channel.
  • You are also not allowed to jump a person as soon as they join the server.
You are however allowed to PM a person if they ask in chat for a town to join.

Hey guys/gals!

Sorry that the paper's late, due to technical difficulties (my computer) I couldn't get it out yesterday. Anyways, here it is! Have a good read and we hope you enjoy this issue!
