The Last Home rests within The Compendium, at the top of The Athanaeum. The Headmistress Esther Caldwell has set out a place to take in the lost, the hungry, and the abandoned. Shelter, clothing, and food given to those that have earned it. Protection and a chance at higher learning to those that are obedient and willing to earn it. A sense of purpose given to those that excel.

Word would spread, as these things do. Esther's arms are open to the vagrants and the urchins.
