I'm just hopin for a unique plot rather than a remake of Empire Strikes Back, as we all know Force Awakens was just a copycat of A New Hope.

I remember watching the movie in theaters and when it ended i was like ".. Isn't this this the same plot as the former movies ..?"

Seeing it tomorrow. I already know what happens but I'll give my full thoughts this time tomorrow night.

Really adored it. It may be post watch bliss but this film was just below ESB for me.

There are about 2 scenes I can name that I really dislike, but that's what it is. Some absolutely shocking moments that were very well done.

Litterally me after watching it.
I heard SO MANY PEOPLE complain about how "its going to be a copy of episode 5 there's no hope. Episode 7 was a copy of episode 4 so I don't have high expectations for this one."
Excuse you do you really think that Disney is going to ignore the fact that people thought episode 7 was a copy of episode 4 and do you really think they would make that mistake again if people hated it? Also if you ignore the fact that episode 7 had a bit of a borrowed storyline the movie itself was awesome. It maintained the star wars feel and kept up amazing characters. It is logical to assume they would create a new story to please viewers while still applying the star wars feel to the new movie. It was unbelievable I saw it on its first showing close to where I lived. Everyone should watch it

Watched it, liked it. Wasn't disappointed.

Didn't disappoint. Was the perfect blend of comedy/good storytelling. Nice character driven movie. Still not a fan of Rey though.

There are briefly surface similarities, but you'll find that this one differentiates itself nicely.

Just saw it. Feel like I watched a totally different movie than those who liked it. Seriously, would some of you who liked it pm me with cliff notes of what happened in your movie, just so I can make sure there's not multiple versions being shown? This is my least favorite star wars film. I'm not a hard critic of these movies either, minus a few nitpicks I thought rogue one was awesome and the force awakens was good also. This... I don't even know where to begin.
