[NS] Faction Turns [Beginning Tuesday 02/10/2018]

The faction turn is a three day (or less) period where factions may submit the OOC content of their turn, which includes all asset movements, attacks, and special actions, to this thread. The turn ends after three days or once every nation has been accounted for. The turn order is determined by the Nation Census Report at the beginning of each new turn. Although this order is affected by one's NS stats, the stat chosen for the Census is completely random and out of our control. Turn posts do not necessarily have to be posted in order; they will only be counted this way after the turn's results are being taken into account. Please keep any posts that are not related to one's faction turn out of this thread.

Please consult the HWDM factbooks, listed on our NS region homepage, for a list of actions that can be taken in a turn. Generally, these include the movement and abilities of assets. Stealth asset movements DO NOT have to be reported on this thread, so long as they are tracked and open to the DM. Two actions are taken per turn. The easiest way to go about this is filling out a simple form with all the relevant information of your actions. Rolls may be logged here as well, as done through the #rolls channel in the NS discord.

A note on expanding influence- this does not always count as the conquest of a territory. As the game allows for shared bases of influence, I will mark territories as owned based on who is agreed to have the dominant culture in the area in RP. Competing bases of influence in these territories represent foreign political influence, economic undermining, or secret buildup of military assets, and are not even inherently offensive (see Global Stock Market.) As such, please inform me of the intentions of your base of influence in the turn post. I will also mark territories as conflicted in ownership if there are multiple dominant cultures in place.

Canonically, this is occupation of the region through quiet disruption of dissenters against Amano Akio's new regime and work to sow loyalty amongst disillusioned civilians. This is made easier (rp wise, not mechanically) due to the nation's traits.
