    Roleplay

The Sorrows is an RP world. Things done there are done in RP, with some exceptions. (Exceptions also include mining and resource gathering, as this can be done oocly)

There is intended to be danger in the world. PVP potential simulates this danger, due to lack of something better.

However each individual pvp fight is not in itself an RP, (though it can have some added if the pvper attempts to RP) but the Sorrows are lawless. This lawlessness is what simulates the danger we want to justify the relatively high rewards.

With this in mind, PVP should be considered separate to RP in all respects but one:

The MCMMO skills can be used as a gauge to see how much time a person has put into training. By no means an absolute indicator of prowess nor deciding factor in combat, but if someone wants to RP train with swords can then go fight mobs and other people with the PVP function, and while the PVP function is separate from RP, it does translate into a way to prove to someone else the amount of time spent "training."

    Death in Sorrowlands:
Being killed or dying in the Sorrowlands doesn't count as an RP death unless it's acknowledged or accepted through RP.

    Rules
    • Unless conflicting with rules below, every rule in the King's Law must be followed.
    • Don't complain if it gets griefed/stolen
-This means griefing/stealing is allowed unless it breaks the rules mentioned below
    • No using any bugs or glitches to steal or otherwise gain something that you couldn't gain legitimately.
    • No 1 block towers
    • No TNT or Lava - However, TNT and lava underground is perfectly fine.
    • No wrecking the terrain. Floating trees isn't a big deal, but don't shred the desert or I'll make sure there's a smaller one in the next map.
-No one will get banned for ruining the desert, as the punishment for such is already mentioned here.
    • Death traps are allowed, but again: No TNT or lava on the surface.

    Using the Travel System

You start by heading to /spawn
You'll arrive in a spot between two boats- one with yellow sails and one with red.

Turn to your left- and hop on!

Once boarded, you automatically get teleported to the Sorrows.

Congratulations! You are now in the Sorrows and can gather resources!

    The Rift

The Rift is a resource world deemed 'The Nether". It has the same rules and bounds of the Sorrows, with hostile monsters and the difference between IC/OOC. It is known to be more dangerous.

You start by heading to /spawn
You'll arrive in a spot between two boats- one with yellow sails and one with red.
Head straight down and out the 2nd gate of Storm's Landing:

Head into the carriage towards "The Rift". You must have 100 rads or 5 emeralds.

Follow the dirt pathway through the hills and tunnel.

    And there looms.. The Rift.
