Two rumors float from north to south of the continent. 'Kneel not before self proclaimed greatness.' 'A pale scent walks among men once more.' Seafarers nod stoically to the blunt words of one and scoff at the cryptic words of the other.

Over the coming days, graves are exhumed in Storms Landing and cage-like structures made of iron rods and heavy locks are fixed around them before being buried once more with only the tops of these structures peering out of the dirt. Heavy locks are also installed on the crypt entrances, it seems the Ministry has had enough.

Work begins on an old structure -- a dilapidated den of sin -- north of the Landing. Tents have been pitched outside of the building during the night while work continues on the next day. Every night, or most nights, a bonfire is lit to rid the construction site of rotted and useless debris.

On the other end of things, somewhere to the south-west of the Landing, there were rumors afoot that a church was being built nearby Groi'bel Evar, white pillars and roses blooming amidst a clearing in the woods... and a certain rapier-wielding Sool was heading the construction. She spent a lot of time back and forth between the church and the large manor nearby, often with help. And a horse.

Over the last few days... A surprising amount of nobles have been spotted sailing north and back to where they came from.

A strange man was seen to be his showing respect to the "Maceo the Burned" Ignis shrine in Sanardu. It was dark, so not many people managed to get a good glimpse at him, though rumor has it, he had a very long skinny nose.

A tall, disgrunted man with green eyes and dark hair has sent word around for a healer. There seems to be a sickly figure in the tavern that requires a checkup and he's not sure where he can find a healer's shop in the vast Storm's Landing.

Strange! Thorne was recently visited by a doctor from afar. He seemed to linger in the markets, and he also visited the cathedral! He also talked to a few people. It was dark when he arrived, so not many had a good look at him, but those who saw him said he seemed to have the chills.

In Veraci, a prominent political prisoner has been seen being escorted to her old family estate to be placed under house arrest until her trial. It is publicly known that the woman is Lady Southgate, a noble household of Veraci who owns the Southgate Meadery in Storm’s Landing, which has been accused of murder and smuggling. Today, her counselors will be arriving to assist her in this month’s upcoming trial. (5 PM CST tonight. Also, we do have a carriage to Veraci! It is in Mockingbay’s carriage center!!)

Rumor has it a man with the newly discovered disease escaped The Valiant Order

Word gets around that the woman who had been building the Church of Sallana invites all of the sickly to stay there, so that they may do no harm to those they love and receive of succor. She walks around pinning up little notes about such, a mask over her face and a nasty cough herself before taking her leave back to the church.

She also begs that for now, the healthy stay clear of the church for it is to host as a quarentine zone for those of this spreading sickness.

Rumor has it, the grand prize of the Emerald Tourney is an artifact of Jax.

Rumor has it that the emerald tourney lived up to it's hype. Jax shed coins around the tourney, bringing mirth and great cheer. The jousters fought harshly and there were many a tie. As the people of Halbed aren't familiar with Holztorc or the Eber-folk, there is a particularly rumor about the Konung killing a knight in green and yellow colors, the man having a lance burst his chestplate open in a freak accident. A commoner and a king rose their way to the top of the joust, beating the Konung himself, and one earning an artifact of Jax, the other gaining knighthood. Their sculptures are on display in Halbed along the trail to the Jousting arena.

A short figure in a red cloak and tight wrappings, rode into Sanadru. Riding past the Memorial up to a fountain, dismounting and walking up steps. To return down, with a rattling sack that is tied upon the mule. Mounting and riding off, those so are curious can go up the same path the strange figure went. To find a Skeleton with a nice looking hat, gone.

The shrine to Jax in Veraci (The 'Church of Jax', under construction) has been desecrated with nonsensical geometric ruins in blood, and judging by the age of the blood upon closer examination, it would appear it had to have occurred during the course of the midsummer ball. Animals bones are scattered at the base. The popularity of the ball and how many people attended would also explain the fact of no one having been present to raise alarm at the desecration, as well.

Rumors float in varying ports about a two breweries opening up soon, one said to be in a small farming village that is not on the map yet.

A small figure road out of Mockingbay on a donkey in the dead of night, with a heavy set man on it as well. Oddly the man had a dagger sticking out of his neck. The figure wore a green cloak and wrappings covering the rest of their body.
