My Lord, or my Lady, you have been cordially invited to a Masquerade Ball in the city of Queensport by the Grand Duchess.
It has been a long overdue event that was once celebrated in a monthly fashion. The creatures that plagued Queensport have been vanquished, and House Kane is recovered. Let us enjoy fine music, exquisite foods, and likely excessive alcohols from all over the lands. Let us enjoy the mystery of hiding our true faces for an evening.
It will be a requirement for all attending to wear masks of some form, and to wear something gold on their person. Whether it is simply a ring, mask or an entire ball gown.
{ Itinerary of the Evening }
✥ Guests will be shown to ballroom for initial conversation and served drinks from waiting staff.
✥ Guests are invited to dance at their leisure with a composition of music. Once the dance is over, people will be given more drink and given free roam of the palace.
✥Guests are encouraged to find hidden ribbons of black silk. Tie them to your left arm. The guest with the most ribbons by the end of the evening wins a prize.
✥Serving staff will walk with platters of food, to eat at your leisure, instead of a feast.
✥ A raffle will be held. A name will be randomly selected from the invitations. Three thousand radiants.
✥ To conclude the evening, fireworks will be displayed in the palace courtyard. The raffle and prize of the ribbons will be declared here. Masks may be removed at this point.
✥ Optional: To continue socialising within the palace afterwards.
