ν Riddlespeak
This is an amalgamation of various different slangs from Britain, Ireland, Whales and Scotland, I tried to keep out most contemporary slang. Nonetheless, a large percentage of these words have been made up by me, particularly places, professions, and most of the verbs, and yes, it is designed to be very confusing.

Loud, roudy, and nearly impossible to decipher, you do not want to get caught up in an argument with somebody fluent in Riddlish.

CROMARCKY'S REMEMBRANCE

107034

The tongue of thieves, Riddlish was developed not for the cultural or diplomatic requirements of the great house of Cromarcky. Rather, it was the need of the various lowlifes that congregated and bred in it's coastal capital city of Riddleport.

Founded by the crown's Master of Coin, the Baron of the Dice and the great Mogul of Cromarcky, Marcus Helix, many would have considered Riddleport a great odious stigma upon the Western Continent, yet it's incomparable commercial potency cannot be disputed. Perhaps it is no wonder that it was a cesspool of thievery, trickery and guile, how else did the shanty town leave such a prominent influence upon the continent?

-----------

A discussion for another time, or perhaps best left undiscovered by most.
The point is, Riddlish is no simple language, it is a culmination of the efforts of the most conniving and astute villains, words created for the simple goal to confuse the authorities and conceal their true goals, created through decades of adaptation, a language of the people, in every sense of the word.

But surely, if Riddleport is long gone, centuries- millennia ago, the ignoble tongue must've perished along with it? Not quite. As quick as the dialect came to creation, it propagated and disseminated throughout the continent, quickly becoming a staple outside of Cromarcky's domain, though most regularly coming into use in similar shanties of the present time, favoured in the slums and dangerous port towns.

In constant evolution, Riddlish yet continues to thrive between the realm's baddies, a cant that forever commemorates the spirit of Cromarcky and it's loving Mogul.
