Metagaming is using information that your character would not know to help them. Powergaming is forcing an action on another character or doing something your character would normally be unable to do.

Hello, my name is DisManagement but most people online just call me Dis for short! In my free time I am usually writing storys with a few friends of mine or brainstorming ideas for a book that I hope to write one day. I work as a 'Sandwich Artist' (god I hate that term) at Subway and when I'm not either working or writing I usually am either playing Minecraft on my computer or some other game on my Playstation! My favorite games are Stardew Valley, any Elder Scroll game, and Legend of Zelda games.
9. Do you have any examples of your work?
I used to build a lot with friends but sadly I lost all of my pictures when I changed computers. q_q But hopefully I can eventually show my abilities on the server!
10. Did anyone refer you? If not, how did you find our server?

Forest Elven - Father was Sooleran Human, Mother was Forest Elven.
Appearance:
Emilia is of a rather dark complexion, long and very curly black hair that is usually braided. Her eyes are a dark green color. She is rather tall and quite slim when compaired to other Forest Elves.

Written Test!
Amelia was born in the forests of the Northern Kingdoms just before the undead swarms pushed the people of the lands outwards and through the Sea of Storms. Her mother was a trained and practiced hunter, her father a simple paper maker. As one could only assume, her first few months in life were filled with terror and uncertainty and by the time she had made it to the new land she had already lost a parent. Left alone with her father in the new land they made the best of it and he did what he could to help her grow big and strong. Mold her as a strong woman just like her mother was. Amelia never did find out what had caused her mothers death so early in life, whenever she tried to coax the answer out of her father she was met with empty answers or a rigid silence. She could only figure she had died to the swarms of undead or had been a loss in complications traveling across the Sea of Storms but she knew she would never know for sure what the answer was, she could only assume.
Regardless, her new home was in Storm's Landing. Living with her father she learned much from him and the wide variety of travelers that passed through the port constantly. Most of her childhood she spent out in the fields of wheat playing hide and seek with a few of the other village children. The other half of the time she spent exploring the area outside of Storm's Landing, trying to make sure her father didn't find out so she wouldn't get in trouble. It was a happy childhood and despite her father's desire for her to be a papermaker too, she lusted for something more. A life of adventure, traveling the lands, hopes of finding a gallant knight to rescue her from her dull life. But when she wasn't daydreaming about the adventures she would one day have she did indeed help her father as he worked on orders to be shipped out across the land. For every shipment, he would give Amelia a few radiants and slowly she saved up enough to buy herself a beautiful dark maroon dress she had wanted for so long. It was with this purchase that she decided it was time to try to get out there into the world. To stop daydreaming about her future, and make them become a reality.

About Your Character!
This section is about the character you intend to use once you join the server.We ask that new players follow these guidelines during this portion of the application:
- Characters begin with basic skills and gear. No advanced armor or weaponry. Skills and abilities are appropriate to a novice level. Skills should be learned through roleplay, not through backstory.
- Characters fit the lore. If you choose to play as a Moor Elf, for example, we expect appearance and details to be fitting with base lore.
- Characters cannot use magic in any way. The test itself should not mention magic either. HollowWorld uses a restricted magic system and it is only accessible to those who find and learn from a teacher in-game.
- Tests should not be violent. No murder, killing, death, torture. In the past, 8 out of 10 applications featured characters fighting off bandits or slaying passersby. We don't want to see how well you can script a fight scene. We want to see how well you can tell a story, how well you can roleplay.
- Be creative and be original. Do not use tests/characters whose home villages were burned, parents murdered, and then set off to be an orphan assassin. It has been done before. Please don't do it again.
- Written portion of the test is required to be a 400 word minimum. If the test doesn't meet the minimum, Staff may ask you to extend the test before the application is considered.
