The de Courtnay banners, or known as the Doré Garde, is the military force of the House de Courtnay, combined forces from levies, volunteers and other men and women of service. Trained in the mountain hold of Mountain’s End. These men serve both as guards and the military force of the House, entrusted the safety of the people of the Courtnay lands.
+Ranks in the Dore Garde+
Note: Sergeant-At-Arms does not receive a new uniform, and instead will use the uniform of the Men-At-Arms.
Men-At-Arms; The second highest unit of the Garde, the Men-At-Arms are often responsible for the training and welfare of the lower units.
Levies: The basic unit of the forces, using the same armour as the Initiate and armed with Halberds, Arming Swords, and shields, often the Levies are given sub-positions depending on their own skills.
Initiate/Peasants: Lowest rank of the order, men unproved or men without any form
of nobility or military experience.
+Rules+
- Thou shall obey the words of Divine Law and the Code of Chivalry at all times.
- Thou shall heed the advice of their superiors and stride to better their own skills, of both physical and mentally; For the good of the Lands.
- Thou shall keep their equipment always in working order, those careless enough not to do so, will be met with disband.
- To disobey a superior, is a punishable by lashing.
- Thou shall respect the honour of his fellow brothers in arms.
- Abandon of one's duties is a crime punishable by death, as stated in the Province Laws.
+Housing+
Those who join the Dore Garde, will be given bed and chest in the castle of Mountain’s End, and are more than welcome to join the family in eat and drink when off-duty.+Honours Within The Garde Doree+
Honours given to the Guardsmen of the order have a variety of different rewards; From the usual increase of rank, pay, or housing, to something a bit more usual. The helms of the order, Morion Helmets are given feathers of different colour to show acts of honour, glory, faith, or valour. However, feathers are bound to be destroyed, stolen or worn; With the feathers is also gifted a chain necklace, small to fit under armour and other sets of clothing. Symbols of Feathers are the most common reward, however, other symbols can be given to the necklace for acts of honour.
+Feathers+
The feathers given come in four colours; Red, Blue, Green, and Gold. Each feather connected to a different act. Members of the Gardee Dore may wear a feather of their choosing if they have received multiple, or none at all, if they so wish to keep the feather in safety. The feathers are listed below;
Feather of Honour: For acts of Honour in service to the House de Courtnay or the Kingdom of Anhald, the symbol given for the Chain is that of a smaller feather. The medal given for the Necklace is a smaller recreation of the Feather on the helm, which can be received more than once.
Feather of Valor: For Acts of Valor in the heat of battle, dyed with a deep blue dye to match the blue of the banner of the House de Courtnay. The medal given for the chain is a single sword, created in steel.
Feather of Chivalry; Awarded for acts of Chivalry, relating mostly to the honour of other members of the Gardee Dore. Awarded for acts that show Brotherhood in service. The medal given for this is a Lavoyarde cross.
Feather of Faith; Awarded for acts that show faith to Ignis Synnove, a feather coated in yellow is given to the receiver of the honour. The Necklace medal given is a Golden Sun for Ignis.

Given along with the feathers, the Medals placed upon the Necklace of the Gardee Dore is the following;
