“A terrible specter looming in the skies above, the origins of the mysterious dragon remain uncertain.
All that is known about it, is it’s terrible destructive powers and it’s ties with the evil forces that plague Altera.”

Physiology

Arms and legs — On the underside of the top of its torso are small but supple arms, which it may use for basic manipulation or for seizing smaller pray. They are not particularly long, nor are they equipped with any special mechanics. They sport sharp claws, and muscles strong enough to grab and hold onto an adult human. There is a lot of damage to be had from the legs — they end in claws equipped with large and heavy talons capable of ripping stone from a wall. They are quite strong, having enough might to easily support the dragon and enough to easily pick up a horse.
Wings — The wings are robust and leathery, but are tattered at the ends and absolutely covered in fungal growth. The ends of its wings have spines, as do its back and tail.
Eyes, mouth and features — The Blight Dragon has a large head, with a long snout. It has two large aquamarine colored eyes, on either side of its head — these being covered by a retractable, rigid, transparent shell for protection while flying or under attack. The eyes are very strong, and are aided by partial sensitivity to UV light (such as some birds and wildlife are) which makes spotting of ground targets significantly easier. The Blight Dragon also has small ears, ridges along its snout, and no horns. Its mouth has two rows of sharp, uniform teeth.
Size and physical description — It is covered in glossy, translucent scales, its underlying skin a dark sand green color. Fungal growth is thick in between the scales, and areas of the body are actually covered in growth which obscures the scales. The wings especially have thick fungal growth. The belly has numerous orfuses — rather large pores for expelling spores into the air. Its hind legs (which it rests on when it lands) are muscular, and tipped with claws that are fitted with long talons. The Blight Dragon is 20 feet tall from ground to head, 130 feet long from snout to tail, and has a wingspan of about 300 feet (that’s 6 meters tall, 40 meters long, and 90 meters wingspan. It's approximately the size of a large international airplane) and is easily large enough to swallow multiple people whole.

Habitat

The Blight Dragon has been sighted all over the continent, but its most devastating attacks have been on Thorne and Linlea. It is unknown where it resides or naturally lives.

Sexual Dimorphism

Unknown.

Behavior

The Blight Dragon is an unparalleled destructive force. It has attacked livestock, farms, military infrastructure, and civilian populations. Not much has been observed of the Blight Dragon besides what has been witnessed during its large-scale attacks.

Lifespan

Unknown.
Yield

If some part of the abomination has been captured or claimed, such as a body part, teeth, spikes, etc. and you wish to experiment with them or simply wish to receive more information, please send Squidziod a convo. Thank you!

Ooooh, much smaller than I had envisioned. She's a teeny thing then. About the size of a human or elf then, if standing face to face with it?

For viewing it's face yah. Body wise it's still a predater the size of a horse or larger.

NIAH -- Oh woops, I posted the wrong measurements. They came from an earlier draft of the write up and aren't in line with how the creature has been DM'd in events, and have since been amended with the proper dimensions.
