[Free town] Burglarshire

There is lots of money to be made, as much as there is to be stolen!
{ Violent }

This is a town where everyone can make it big. Market stalls can be rented for free, living
here is free, you may set up your own business and workshops. The big idea is to have a place
where all RP is automatically consented to, however: you have to have good justifiable reasons for whatever you do. So if you enjoy that, come join us!

You can rob here and be robbed. You can kill here and be killed. Yes.
But it is more than that: If you don't want people to break into your house: Board up your
windows or set a trap. If someone breaks in, this trap damage must be consented to,
as is the rule of the region.

If you like to be surprised in RP or whenever you log on, this might be a good place!

(This town is tied to this thread)

(Stole most of the lay-out from Solus ' thread)

Burglarshire is built between the curves of Landingroad and Landingriver.
At first, a few people settled there. Someone built a hut, another built a treehouse.
Since it is situated near such an important road, a small market appeared soon after the first
people built their residences here. Before too long, the town expanded.

This organic growth of the town has resulted in an organically growing culture.
There is an air of "If you want something, do it yourself".
The people who settle here mostly work alone and make a living through their preferred trade.
The success of some has resulted in a multitude of professions coming together in one town.
This success has in turn attracted parasites who'd benefit from other people's hard labor: Thieves.

The town is ever expanding in time.
Slowly, the people are starting to forget about the dungeons below.
They forget that the circle of pillars activate many secrets around the site.
So focused on their work and making it big, that things are starting to get overlooked.
Will you be the one to uncover Burglarshir's mysteries???

Burglarshire has been erected from what was once wild nature.
Nature still plays an important role in the edge of town.

Climate & Landscape:
Burglarshire is built upon a hill, sloping gently downward.
A river defines its Northern boundary, a road its Southern one.
It is situated a bit land-inward from Storm's Landing, but still has a sea climate.
This involves a bit less stable weather; more sporadic storms and showers.

Species of plants you might find in this area:
Oak / Thyme / Rosemary / Basil / Bramble / Thistle / Ivy

Species of animals you might find in this area:
Mammals:
Rabbit / Wolf / Bear / Squirrel / Cow / Deer / Fox / Badger
Fish:
Trout / Salmon / Clams
Birds:
Crow / Pheasant / Pigeon / Falcon / Magpie / Raven
Other:
Frog / Newt / Turtle

The following businesses have settled in Burglarshire:
Carpenter - Kublai
He's created a workshop from which to create items to sell them at Burglar's Market.

Knight - Isaac
He intends to keep the thieves from stealing.

Carpenter / Shipwright - Tyr

The following sites are of importance:
Pillarsquare
For its historical importance and being the place where the town is built around.

Anyone who so desires may live at Burglarshire.
There are a few rules though:
1. After three months of inactivity, your house will become vacant.
2. You are not allowed to dig basements unless I have given you permission for it (due to redstone everywhere).
3. All other King's Law rules incl the rule on griefing and such.
4. if you steal any items, leave a trace. Also put the items in item frames or an unlocked chest (May be locked IC) somewhere else in the region (or wherever your character took them) so there is a chance for the ones who are robbed to find their items back :)

Investors of Burglarshire:
Tiberione - 10,000 radiants to be spend on bird-heads [2500 spent]

Citizens of Burglarshire:
Isaac Dunrad - Joseph12Q
Tyr Eldsvart - SirLuamTehDoge
Rufus Greenbottle - ToastySpam
Tei - Narvendel
McKenna - Lirakitty
Olga Stonecutter - Kamaoe
Wulfric - BoredBrit
Kublai Kull - (me)
Leoric Packman - (me)

Why do you want to live here?: After being knighted Isaac lacks a direct purpose outside of his training and worship, bringing a form of law to a lawless settlement seems as good a purpose as any other.

Updated the picture of Pillarsquare and added some names to the culture section. Once I've RolePlayed with more people I hope to create some kind of network image to show the inter-relations of Burglarshire's inhabitants.

Quick reminder to leave a trace of your character when you steal something. For instance: footsteps in a certain size, or a ripped cloth, or whatever.
Cause right now things are going missing, which is okay for this region, but there's got to be some way for the people who are being robbed to follow up from the robbery. :)
Thanks!
