I've devised a system for playing blackjack and flapjack.

simply have everyone playing roll a 1d13 when it is their turn to hit, stay, or draw their two cards the opening round. I usually make ace = 1 and jack, queen, king = 11, 12, 13 respectively. So far this system has worked with great success as long as I kept a paper irl to mark which and how many cards were taken from the deck.

This-- Also, i've created one back a while ago, it was a boardgame. It was very simple. Roll a d10, a d20, and a d50 and add it all up, and the one with the highest wins. It was simple, but i had a bunch of game pieces and such.

the only problem I can find with this system is that, while you can monitor a limit, the chances are the same. say I roll two 7s, and the person next to me gets a 7 and a 12.. right off the bat the chances of anyone else getting a 7 should be 1/49, a very small chance in terms of card playing. However, the die itself can still roll a seven, all that's gonna change is you saying "Alright, nobody else can get 7s" that's all that the system takes care of. other than that it's a very good system, I'm just nitpicky as all hell, luckily I don't gamble, online or no.

awesome. I've played about four varieties on dice gambling.
One was just who has the highest roll out of 1 - 3 rolls.
One was a summarized roll: You roll once, look at the numbers, raise the stake. Roll again, summarize your first with this second throw, raise the stakes if you want to. Third Roll decides who wins, by summarizing all three Rolls.
One was like blackjack, throwing dice to get closest to 21, but if you go over it you're bust.
and then there was something really complicated with over 6 throws which I don't even remember anymore.
Dunno if this helps :p

Anyone familiar with the mobile game spyfall? This could be used in RP, you just gotta have someone DM/give out cards using PMs (I'll do it for anyone whos online, you need atleast 4 people to play.)

"Spyfall is a party game unlike any other, one in which you get to be a spy and try to understand what's going on around you. It's really simple! Spyfall is played over several rounds, and at the start of each round all players receive cards showing the same location — a casino, a traveling circus, a pirate ship, or even a space station — except that one player receives a card that says "Spy" instead of the location. Players then start asking each other questions — "Why are you dressed so strangely?" or "When was the last time we got a payday?" or anything else you can come up with — trying to guess who among them is the spy. The spy doesn't know where he is, so he has to listen carefully. When it's his time to answer, he'd better create a good story!"

We can substitute the locations for stuff more medieval like, maybe a castle/palace (pirate ship can stay) etc

I wrote up a system for playing Baccarat, but gave it a twist to specify it to be called Sangrian Baccarat.

Sangrian Baccarat

This version of Baccarat mimes the Chemin de fer version of Baccarat for it's swifter gameplay. It has been crossed with blackjack to make it a bit different. It utilizes 8 decks in total, excepting the royal faced cards for a total of 72 cards
In a game of 2-4 players one of those participating is chosen to deal. This player is termed the 'bank'. The bank sets the initial bet, shuffles and deals the cards. The remaining players can either match or exceed this initial bet.
The bank will deal two cards to each player (each player and the bank will roll a d9) with the goal to get a number between 7 and 15. If the player wishes, they may discard one card in favor of drawing another. After this the cards will be revealed and the winner will be the person with the highest number between 7 and 15. If two players have the highest winning number they will draw another card (roll another d9) from the top of the deck and the highest number will take the pot. The loser with the lowest number will become the bank.

I made/played some games using my character Kublai:
- Simple black-jack, but instead of trying to get to 21 by yourself, you throw dice together, so you can see the others coming close simultaneously, which might alter your strategy.
- Simple black-jack, but when you go over 21, you're not necessarily bust. Instead, you are allowed to double your wager (while the others' stakes remain the same) to stay in the game and try again. If you get bust again, you do get bust.
- A game of horse-race. You place a line of 12 blocks and on top of the first block of each line you place a custom head or a button or anything small. You roll d6 and every time you roll a 6, your horse moves one block further. You roll in turns, so the first to get to block 12 wins (Inspired by shagai)
