✞ Artifacts and Trinkets:
- The Bulwark Armor
Physical Description:
A gold chestplate, but with all of the qualities of steel. It cannot be tarnished, damaged, or physically altered through any method shy of direct divine intervention.
Ability: The armor, passively, keeps the wearer at a perfect, warm temperature. It regulates their internal heat, and they will not find themselves at any point either over- or under-heating. It emits a constant warm glow from over the heart of the wearer, and this glow cannot be extinguished by any means. The wearer cannot get sick, and in fact, if they consume any impurities (poison, unsafe food) their body will naturally burn it out out of their system.
It has two active effects, Dawn, and Dusk. They may be swapped between at will, but it takes roughly a minute for the armor to transition from one state to another.
[Dawn] It allows the wielder to conjure up to three bolts of white holy fire into their hands, which they are uninjured by, but they are able to throw at people. It is equivalent to a mundane javelin in velocity, able to pierce through people. At the point of impact, the lance will erupt into mundane fire, equivalent to as if someone had just thrown a "molotov cocktail." (3/day recharging every sunrise)
[Dusk] The chestplate becomes a long, luxurious golden robe that retains all of the qualities of the breastplate. It is gold, impossible to tarnish or pierce, but does not protect against blunt trauma in any way.

- Luminescence [Directly Attuned - Present Version] (20-ish)
Physical Description: A halberd with blade and spikes reminiscent of an artist's wavy depiction of sunlight.
Ability: It has a passive effect of giving off a faint, slightly warm radiance to an area of around 8 blocks unless it is covered, like the morning sun. Any illusions within whisper range will melt away and be dispelled, up to and including adept level.
[Deployable] At will, the wielder can have the halberd spikes morph into flame, which never give off smoke and remain alight for as long as the wielder holds it or until they dismiss them.
[Active] Elucidate: Subjects an area to the truth of the Light, revealing lies and deception.
-A target within 5 blocks makes a DC 15 check(15 or above). On failure, the target is compelled to either speak only relevant truth in response to questions of the wielder, or remain silent. This effect lasts up to five minutes IC, so long as the target remains within the radius.
-Can be used once per day.


✞ Passives(s) or Sustained Effects:
-[T3 Passive] Saintly: Your eyes turn a fiery-yellow, a prominent color of Ignis’s and you look more angelic, outwardly- towards others. Your presence emits a warm aura, like a small campfire, in whisper range and the touch of fire doesn’t immediately burn you unless you are exposed for more than a minute. You cause flames or candlelight to become brighter in a radius of 20b.
-[Spell Effect] Arcane Glyph Ward: The spell Arcane Glyph Ward has been cast onto a golden Purity Seal that has been fixed to Podric's steel cuirass, though is able to be removed with tools. A second, red Purity Seal, has been given the second Glyph Ward, and is currently in the possession of one Charlemagne Lavoyarde. This spell is cast every TUESDAY, and would follow the Odd Spell Day of June 22nd, 2019 [6/22/19].
-[Curse] Curse of the Corpse: When outside of the wards, the right hand finds itself in a perpetual cycle of rot and decay, but living enough to not lose the limb. Sections slough off but flesh regrows underneath ready to rot again. It becomes blackened in colour, extremely painful, but will heal over a few days once back in the safety of the wards.
-[Cult] The Mantle of the Sun: Podric is never blinded nor hindered by bright light, sun or otherwise. Added from the creation of the Cult, the Heralds of Saint Mathieu.


✞ Current Divine Status:
-Traveling between Haven, Thorne, and Storm's Landing.
-Preparing to assist Shalherana worshippers in retaking Life from Jishrim.
-Making plans to inflict mass casualties among Skraag's Abominations. Fighting against said Abominations within the Sorrows and Frontier.
-Generally dedicating his entire being to the Lightbringer in essentially everything he does.
-Teaching various friends and acquaintances about the Lightbringer, alongside anyone who is willing to listen. [Currently Teaching: Marceau, Charles?, Arielle?]

Spell: Make physical contact with one targeted creature or beast in range of size Medium (humanoid), small or tiny. A faint hue, the color of the caster's deity, will emit from their body and stun them for one minute, or until the next single attack against them which will be given with an advantage. When cast against another mortal, they must roll off against the caster for the higher roll to dispel the effect. When stunned for more than two rounds, or if a target rolls high against the caster, they will be immune to Stun for the next 24 hours. The stunned target or creature is aware of their surrounds until the stun dispels, albeit dazed.

Feast of the Brave

Duration: Until eaten.
Spell: Bless a meal that will taste divine. The Caster has a choice of what main dish, drink and appetizers will be tasted, fit for a blessed meal.The target will feel healthier and cures the following ailments after its consumption: bruises, headaches, and dehydration. It feeds one person per use.

Holy Flames
Tier: 1

Spell: Upon casting, pale gold flames erupt in both of the caster’s hands. The flames that emit from the user's hands do not burn any living thing, including themselves, however, materials will set alight when touched(such as wood, for example, but not clothing if it is on a person). Regular flames will appear if another object is set alight with Holy Flames. It gives off light, but not heat, and can last up to ten minutes or when the user wills it away. It breaks upon concentration breaking such as being startled or attacked.

As a ritual, the caster may deactivate this glyph, regardless of proximity.

Spell: Imposes order within a 5b radius of the caster. Loose objects are organized and tidied, effects produced by a chaotic deity are suppressed (includes spells from blessed by Jishrim, Sallana and Jax abilities). In addition, the following spell types, cast or occuring, will require an additional DC 10 check for failure: illusions (men), telepathy (men), thermal (evis), penumbral (evis), and curses using shadow entities (anima).

Glorious Intent

Spell: Inspiration through the signs we see is the way of the Pantheon. The Caster gives another mortal a short vision through an incantation, made clear to be from the Lightbringer. If they are called upon to favor Ignis, they are inspired with visions of grandeur and a faint pale golden glow emanates from their person for the next 5 minutes. Their next action (with a roll) is made with advantage, as the Lightbringer guides their hand for the action. If they are called upon as an enemy of Ignis, a white flash pierces their mind, and their next action is taken with a disadvantage.

Flight of Light

Spell: Wings of divine light are created behind the caster. The caster can jump to float within the height of 15 blocks. The weight of what they carry must be equivalent to half their current weight or less.

Mathieu’s Vengeance
Tier: 4
Divine: Ignis
Action: Incantation
Component: S, V, M
Cost: 3sp
Duration: 1 minute or until used in 1 Combat Round
Spell: The Caster’s hands and wrists are wrapped with ropes of pale golden flames. If they stay within the Caster’s hands, they can be used to set something on fire. If used on an entity, a single target must be designated through an emote with a 10b radius. That target must roll against a DC of 13. The flames from the caster’s hands shoot out like ropes, poised for that target. If they fail the DC, the ropes of fire latch onto the target, and upon touching them, their entire being bursts into flames of pure white. The target feels nothing for one round, and the ropes disappear. However, after one turn, the target feels as though third degree burns cover their entire person, regardless of their affinities against fire. The fires of white light can be put out, and takes an action to do so, but the effects of divine burn scars will remain for the next 8 hours, unless consoled, and gradually fade within a week.

Divine Log: This section will include all things Ignis that Podric does. This is also posted after a discussion regarding Divine stuff and will be updated whenever anything new occurs.

[Daily Routine] - Assuming Podric is not hindered by anything such as imprisonment, these are his daily events in praise of
Synnove. Credit to BoredBrit for letting me make something similar to what he has done and anyone who uses this should similarly credit him for coming up with the layout.

0500 | Morning Ritual | Upon each morning, Podric will find himself outside, regardless of where he is or the time of year, facing east as the
Sun rises. While the Sun comes to full view, Podric begins a long prayer, thanking Synnove for bringing the Sun to bear for another day, as well as thanking Her for granting him the abilities he does to server Synnove's Will. As all of Pod's prayers are done, it is spoken in Old Arcturian, and will sometimes have more added to his prayer, if something important had occurred the day prior.

0600 | Breaking Fast | Well before many he knows are awake, Podric is preparing his breakfast, which will come in two separate forms. On auspicious days, such as a sermon, battle, or expedition, Podric will cast Feast of the Valiant, uttering an extra prayer in thanks to summon the meal to wherever he is capable of eating at. Otherwise, a much simpler meal is made, primarily due to Pod's lack of skill in cooking, and is accompanied by a similarly simple prayer as he prepares for the day's events. He usually eats his breakfast in silence once his prayer is done, eating quickly to begin his work for the day.

0645 | Works to
Synnove | Podric spends time in the morning on the various metalworks that he has either been commissioned to create, was made as a gift for others, for he and his fellow worshippers, or as an offering to Synnove. Hours are methodically spent, and much of the time his progress is melted down, only to be started again the next morning, as he made some form of mistake. While he works, there is a consistent prayer to Synnove, dedicating his ability to both create and warp steel into objects to serve Her Will.

1200 | Offering & Midday Prayer | This prayer is usually left out of his routine unless he is left alone for the day. However, if he does find time to fit this into his day, he will set a fire wherever he is, and produce something on his person to burn. Many times this comes in the form of the dagger he carries beneath his cloak, on the back of his belt, to keep him humble to the fact that such a weapon was once used to best a King, but should not be something to be boasted. Otherwise, he will burn whatever money he keeps on him, usually number in the hundreds and up to two thousand on any given day. Now with his blessing from the Prophet Rank, Podric will also place his hands into the fire as he burns the object, taking them out after roughly half a minute has passed.

1245 | Midday Meal | His lunch will usually be eaten alone, or with whatever comrades he is with for that day. A prayer is given unto
Synnove prior to him eating, though again he does not waste much time after this, continuing on with his day.

1315 | Maintenance and Works | For the next hour, Pod makes certain his gear does not fall into disrepair, using his smithy to knock any dents out of his armor, ensure his Purity Seal is attached properly, sharpen Incandescence and Luminescence, and try to repair or replace his tabard and cloak. If he finishes this early, he will work on small symbols and necklaces to depict the various symbols of
Synnove, for a future project.

1415 | Labor | Nearly two hours are allocated towards doing manual labor in the name of
Synnove, which includes cleaning up Haven, his smithy, or his home, and putting maintenance on the various holy sites throughout the Continent [Grand Cathedral, Inquisition Building, Haven Church] and prayers are said in Old Arcturian throughout.

1600 | Plans & Concepts | Ideas are thought of, plans are drawn up, and concepts are considered for ways to give praise to
Synnove. This would include plans for future expeditions to the Frontier or Sorrows, posters or letters to be written out, to serve Synnove's Will, or thinking of new ways to give praise. This is as close to a break as Podric would get on a normal day for him, as it leaves him time to think, without dedicating his full attention to prayer.

1700 | Evening Prayer and Meal | Podric spends an hour giving praise to
Synnove, usually before a small crowd of the servants and guards within Haven, should they have free time, before sitting down to eat the only meal in his day that is prepared by someone else, with the rest of the men within Haven. Should he not be in the Castle, he then just prayers as he would for his midday or morning meal, before eating swiftly to get back to work.

1815 | Works to
Synnove | For the last two hours of his day, Podric spends time in his smithy once more, or in a similar workshop should he not be home, in order to work on commissions or to conceptualize new works to put into action. He prays throughout, dedicating his steel to Synnove.

2030 | Nightly Ritual & Rest | Once done with his work, he returns to his quarters, methodically setting aside his arms and armor in differing places every night, in the event someone tries to steal the Holy Relics of
Synnove, and sets a candle beside his bed, leaving it to burn for as long as it can throughout the night.


[Oaths] - Listed below will be a compiled list of all the oaths that Podric has made in the past and present, and whether they have been fulfilled, or disbanded for some reason or another. For now, Podric has yet to break any of his oaths without valid reasoning. They may not be exact to what was said in game, but ICly will have been adjusted in a small book he keeps on him of all the Oaths he makes.

Oath of Steel: The first official oath to be listed on the thread. Podric has sworn to never use another weapon aside from Luminescence again.

Oath of Service: Reiterated many times over, especially when
Synnove gives Podric a sign, Pod has stated over and over again that his steel, his person, and everything of his very being is a tool for Synnove. He is Her's to command.

Oath against Skraag: Podric has vowed, publically to the world, that he will not rest until he can annihilate as many of Skraag's Undead abominations as he can, in accordance to
Synnove's Will.

Oath of Duty: One of his earliest vows, one which Podric takes as serious as the rest, despite the light topic. He has vowed to never allow personal affections for another to obstruct his goal: to serve
Synnove. In short, Podric has taken a vow of celibacy in order to stay focused on his faith and devotion to the Lightbringer.
