Appearance: Muscular with little signs of fat but not to the point of buffness either. Wears a thin shirt and a pair of pants normally and has a blue and white suit of armor to represent his city of Aurolus during war.
Born in Old Warstrom (Before the armies of Grief) Eric was but a lad and his father a blacksmith by trade. Then came the event. The forces of Grief sieged Warstrom and burnt down most of the city. The house was gone, everything he had ever known was inside the walls of the city, also gone. His father left to serve as a blacksmith and warrior in King Cherbert's army without so much as a goodbye. Now don't get me wrong, Eric's father loved him very much but the seperation was made easier this way as he knew very well that he may not be coming back. Eric never saw his father again.
(10 years later)
The new world was risen by the great power of King Cherbert himself with Fortress Naught built around "Hell" as a containment method. This was not spoken of often and was often done in hushed tones when it was. The boy found himself in Skara Brae, a city that brought in many homeless after the event. The city was rather ramshackle but homely to him as he grew into a young adult. He knew he wanted more out of life but could not afford to go out into the world to start his own society. He spoke to some investors and recieved many answers similar to this, "Sorry, I can't help ya kid." He wished someone would just give him a chance in life. Finally he found several donors and set out in his own with an outstanding balance saved up from a longtime of working of 50,000 radiants. "This...", he thought, "is just enough!"
The beginning was rough. With only several plots of land purchased from the Kings. He only had enough room for a couple buildings and a mine. It was like this for nearly a year. He had not realised it would be this difficult to start out on his own. He only had a small group of followers that followed his leadership qualities. Then... one day a nearby town was raided. He lead a small fighting force in to help save some survivors and escaped with 6 people from the town before the raiders burnt it to the ground. King Sonkiro saw the towns need to supply these people with a place to stay and donated large amounts of land in which a humble settlement flourished.
The following year, against his will, Eric was made leader of the town and he named it Aurolus after his mother, Aurola. The town's colors became blue and white like his family crest and he began construction of a keep, Fort Pride. Recognized for his great skills in leadership, settlers from across the land came to Aurolus searching for a better life. Eric would say not say no to anyone. He hated war but realized it is necessary.
Pirates. The scallywags of Shipwreck Cove raided Aurolus several times during Fort Pride's construction. Captain Sally was the buccaneer behind it all and she would not accept peace of any kind. She was after loot of any kind. Eric saw the need to finish the keep as soon as possible to defend his citizens and had miners fetch enough stone to finish it within a week! The pirates eventually grew bored of Aurolus and moved on.
