Childhood: Raised and educated mainly by her parents and a few of their close friends within the order. She learned from an early age to hold to Rahas' Doctrine.

Teen Years: Learned the basics of swordplay while she did other work for her order. Her parents disappeared and she unexpectedly assumed command of the order, her dominant personality and her cunning quickly placing her above anyone else who tried to claim leadership.

Adulthood: She proved her mettle when she led the order into a surprise attack against a local tyrannical governor. She finds her parents' dead bodies in one of the cells as they went through the prisoners after the battle. She was later forced into exile by a group of conspirators within the order. She met Tybalt Marr who gave her a new sword to replace the seized cutlass that she used before.

Family History: People of self-made wealth and simple ways, they acquired what used to be an isolated mountain lookout fortress and turned it into their "palace". On the same day as their marriage, her parents founded their nameless, unstructured order dedicated to upholding Rahas' ideals.

<RELATIONSHIPS>

Relevant Family Members:

~ Laisa Dawnriver, adopted daughter- Kit feels immeasurable guilt for her past mistakes and failures as a mother that have contributed to Laisa's trauma, but she feels that they have both had the time to work through things and have reconciled, and she feels a stronger relationship with her adopted daughter than she has felt in a long time. She is immensely proud of her. (Samiwashere )
~ Leofaren Venna, her husband- Kitrana loves Leo more than anything, a sentiment which she knows he returns. They understand each other and their personalities often act as a perfect compliment to one another, Kitrana's more stubborn and driven nature countered by his diplomatic and peaceful attitude. She trusts him completely and is proud to call him her husband. (Shankster )

Romantic Interests:

Taken

Trusted Friends:
~ Raalvara Varyn- Kit's closest friend, and the one to whom she is most loyal aside from Leo. Kitrana and Raal are a natural complement to one another, holding the same religious views and often similar personalities, though on occasion Raal's temper is worse than hers. Kit trusts Raalvara completely and has her back, and she feels confident at this point that Raal returns that trust. She would follow Raal to hell and back. (Raal )
~ James Varyn- Kitrana sometimes feels conflicted about James, and has not connected with him as well as she has with Raalvara. Despite having similar motives, she sometimes questions his judgment and finds him to at times be too stubborn, and other times puts his trust in the wrong people. However, she still holds a lot of respect for him and would lay down her life for him if need be, and she hopes that James returns that trust. (TheDeester )
~ Ayda- Kitrana sees Ayda as her extended family, and despite something of a rocky past and naturally clashing ideologies and personalities, Kitrana trusts her almost completely, including with her own life if necessary. She is also the woman that Kitrana hopes to eventually learn eviscism under, and in this regard, she respects Ayda more than any other. (Ayda )
~ Cassian- This man was among the first people Kit met when she made it to Storm's Landing. Kitrana does not entirely approve of Cassian's underhanded and manipulative nature even now, and there has been times where his actions have earned her scorn and disdain. But with time, Kitrana has come to regard him as among her extended family, especially as he treats Leofaren as a brother. She even admits privately that at times she would find his skills useful to her, and would ask for his help in this regard if she ever deems it necessary. (Baron2537 )

Friendly With:
~ Ellie Strand- Raalvara's student and a fellow member of the Valiant Order. Kitrana has spoken her enough to know that she is a good person, and the fact that she has chosen to join the Order with them has further earned her respect. (Samiwashere )
~ Arthur- Kitrana does not always get along with Arthur, thinking him to be sometimes too brash and hasty, but overall she respects him as someone who fights for the side of justice. He certainly isn't a coward. (Morbid )

Loose Acquaintances:
~ Esplin- A doctor whose ideology she questions. Overall she believes that Esplin means well, and even enjoys his presence despite their differences. (Wyvern740 )
~ Uriel- Raalvara's young student. Because of his young age, she does not completely hold his past actions against him, though she thinks he has a lot to learn. She hopes that with time he will learn the difference between being brave and strong, and being reckless. (BoredBrit )
~ Lisbet- Kitrana does not know Lisbet well, but she has every impression that Lisbet is a decent person. She feels bad for Lisbet due to what has befallen her as of late, and hopes that with time she can recover. (Elz )
~ Elizabeth Kane- Kitrana is no longer unnerved by Elizabeth's presence as she once was, and has largely moved on from what happened between them during the time of the blight. However, she remains conflicted about the mysterious woman and does not feel that she knows her well at all. She believes Elizabeth's attempts to act more friendly towards her as of late are genuine, and she does respect her abilities. But while she thinks Elizabeth means well, she also believes that Elizabeth, along with her brother, is paranoid and too quick to push away people that she should not. (NIAH )

Disfavored Individuals:
~ Charles Kane- Recent news has not helped her impression of Charles. Kitrana does not respect Charles as she does Elizabeth, and though he seems to mean well, her impression of him is that he is arrogant and over-confident, as well as paranoid. (Lannis )
~ Kopii- While Leo has managed to alleviate Kitrana's concerns over Kopii's mental state and relationship with Leo, Kitrana remains completely untrusting of Kopii. He strikes her as emotionally unstable and dangerously reckless. She will tolerate his presence because of Leo's friendship with him, but she will not entrust him with anything sensitive, and she hopes that Leo is smart enough to do the same after what happened in Linlea. (Omikuji )

~ Asero- Kitrana has spoken to Asero and seen him enough to hold some level of disdain for him. More than anything, she simply regards him to be arrogant, self-centered and something of an oaf. She does not think that he should be with Laisa, but she has decided to hold her tongue and let them be, at least unless Asero does something truly idiotic which hurts Laisa. For now, she is simply glad that he makes Laisa happy. (Electric )

Hated:
~ Podric- She had hoped that with time, Podric would prove himself to be different, but it seems that he is more of the same. An arrogant, temperamental and self-righteous zealot, Kitrana believes that Podric is just as bad as Maceo was. (Luam )
~ Jaden Seeker- Her every impression of Jaden is that he is hypocritical, reckless, self-centered and power-hungry. She holds no respect for him and hopes to avoid him as much as she can, but will tolerate his presence and work with him if circumstances require it. (CloakedReaper )

Wary Of:
"You must be pretty intimidating if you make it here."

Claim 3/3

This is a rework of an older character of mine, I'm bringing her back. She's officially active but I may not actually start playing her until winter break, we'll see

Fronslin

Lord of Altera
Mystic
I'd like to point out that Fronslin doesn't really adhere to any particular divine, he sees himself more as a servant to them, and wants them to remain where they are in their slots in the pantheon. He does have some dislikes though.

I didn't really have the words to explain this until now.

ah. She still thinks of him as somewhat a follower of Rahas, just because of his positive comments about him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The rain danced on the roof of the inn above Kitrana softly. She sat on the foot of her bed, her chainmail removed and laying on the small table in the corner of the cramped room. Her longsword, the one that Tybalt had given her what felt like an eternity ago, was unsheathed and resting across her knee as she slowly, methodically ran the whetstone along the blade. A million thoughts were spinning around in her head. Laisa, Andre, Cassian, the opium gang- too much.

She shifted her gaze up towards the corner of the room. Next to the table, turned facing the wall, was the chair which Kitrana had made into a makeshift crib. Cradled in cloth and hidden from view, the infant girl was sleeping soundly. Laisa. The girl that someone less fortunate than her had abandoned at a shrine in the graveyard, likely because they could barely even feed themselves without a child to care for. Only now was it sinking in what this meant. She had never even considered having children before now, she had too much to do. The endless work. And yet this girl was a part of the endless work. Every bone in her body, every fiber of her being, her head and her heart screamed at her to care for the child and do everything she could to protect her. There was no other option. She could not entrust anyone else with her, not completely. The child was now, as far as she or anyone else was concerned, hers. Laisa Dawnriver.

And yet it terrified her. More than when she had fought a bear. More than when her order attacked and struck down the tyrant who killed her parents. More than any threat of what the drug dealers could do to her, the thought of doing wrong by this child terrified her. More than ever in her mind, there was no room for error, and yet she knew so little about this sort of thing. She also realized what this meant for her. If she was going to raise this child then she had to take care of herself as well, more than she had before. She could not become selfish and stop helping others, but she had to live. For her, she had to survive and be strong. The opium ring had killed Tavia, and threatened the people of the Landing, but if she was to care for Laisa then she could not fight the ring as much as she wanted to. She had to make a choice between her involvement in Laisa's upbringing and her dedication to fighting off the oppressors of the people of Storm's Landing.

And then there was Andre. Persistent, determined Andre. What was she supposed to tell him? She wasn't interested before and she was twice as uninterested now - things had become complicated enough without her trying to work with a romantic interest. She needed more space from him. She could not spare his feelings over her own need for space and independence. She would have to tell him how she felt and it was as simple as that.

She sighed tiredly, looking back down to the sword. She set aside the whetstone, taking a cloth and wiping down the blade carefully, then sliding it back into its sheath and setting it carefully beside the bed. She laid back on the bed, staring up at the ceiling.

For the first time in her life, she had to choose between the one and the many.
