Above the trade of goods or services much commonly found in a traditional market, the main currency that flows through the lands of Sangria is the common Radiant. Although a stylized radiant dubbed the Sangrian Doubloon, the use of the radiant has been used throughout Altera for ages. That silver rounded piece is what just about every man of a sailor's background is familiar with. Within recent years, specifically minted inside the borders of the Capital and other lands is the Sangrian Doubloon.The Sangrian Doubloon holds no more value than the common radiant, and no less- Despite it's crude look.
The Sangrian Doubloon is crafted in mass by pure labor, and red hot silver. The process includes a sheet of forged steel, and hammered balls of silver metals, which are then re-heated to red temperatures, and pressed with the stamp of the Sangrian Radiant by laborers. As this process is not done entirely meticulous, the Sangrian Radiant appears commonly crude and off-centered. Thin, silver in color and rough around the edges, like a silver-caste potato chip. They vary in design, but the most common and up-to-date radiant holds a crude image of a sea-monster, more specifically a leviathan. Other less common designs include a crude norman sword, a crude grinning gambler, and a crude image of the walls of Halbed. The back side of a Sangrian doubloon appears smooth and blank in texture, without stamping.
