Looks rigid and scaly, his arms and legs are a deep yellow, with black sharp nails on his talons. The skin under his feathers is more of a pink.

Scars:
A long straight narrow scar going across his stomach area, having collided with another in a mass gliding accident with another Makani, his claw cutting into his skin across his torso. Mostly hidden by feathers and outer-garments.
A scar on his upper shoulder, while in a training session with spears, one nearly hit him in his shoulder as he ducked, but missed and left a wild scar.
Appearance:
Shorter then many Makani due to clan differences, but a bulkier upper torso and wings, making him appear larger. His feathers are shinny and sleek, very small and short feathers cover his head.
He often wears a brown skirt around his waist, as well as a few leather belts for shielding and to strap things on to him. He doesn't glide often, so he often wears a white cloak and hood over his head.
As he prepares to glide, he will uncloak, a leather bandolier can be seen, with what weapons he had cloaked under him, strapped to his chest.

He lost much of his family as the the mountains of Vata'inu crumbled and the island fell during the great disaster. So he wishes not to talk about it.

When Luo sees Reivos, he sees a friendly PoMakani trying to help his YaVei friend, get situated with the world. With Luos foreign views of the world and inexperience, Luo looks towards Revios for that guidance. When he sees Reivos talking with the groundlings and being friendly, and telling him how nice they are, it changes Luo to be more friendly towards the groundlings and their culture.

Backstory:
Before The Great Disaster, Luo was born into a family of YaVei-Makani. He was raised upon the glorious island of Vata-inu, where he learned to glide at a young age, from the top of cliffs to the edge of islands, he would glide day in and day out, examining the mass of beauty below him. Just by his looks alone, and how deep his parents faith had in The Will of Manna, they believed Luo was blessed. His parents taught him how to hunt smaller animals, his family particularly hunted at night. Hunting shifts consisted of day and night shifts, some Makani preferred hunting in different times of day. Getting older, his mother began teaching him how to make his weapons, if none were available. They used bones to make his weapons, including knives, spears, arrows and axes. His father soon taught him to hunt more larger animals on the island like goats, horses, dogs and cats. One year during a Bright Moon Festival, they had a mass glides across the island, looking down from the night sky into that of Vata'inu and in the village well lit by torches and candles. As Luo was not watching where he glided, he collided with another Makani and its talon tore into Luo's torso, leaving his scar. Then while training with spears in the sparring arena, a young female YaVei-Makani threw a spear, narrowly hitting Luo in the shoulder, as it flew by it left a gash, leaving yet another scar. Once the Great Disaster came upon them, and Vata-inu descended from the skies above. He cloaked himself with a white cloak only showing his face, hands, talons and wings. He crafted yet one his best weapons to defend Vata'inu, his clan, and himself. A whip, although sometimes hard to use, he still trains with it, often using it to latch onto his prey, then a bone knife to stab them with. As his main weapon of choice, he will carry with him to show others, a bone tipped spear, using it to keep enemies at bay. While his mission is still clear, to guard and provide for his people, he also does the same for groundlings but for a price, so that he may get the hand of the new foreign currency. Doing what he does best. While he is optimistic about the future that Manna has for them. He is still very offended by the groundlings nature, Luos people comes first, before doing anything else.
