Standing a meager 5'2", McKenna has a waifish frame and is often believed to be younger than she actually is. Her brilliantly red curls are in a constant state of disarray and a scattering of freckles works its way from one cheek to the other, which only helps to make her appear more childlike. Her eyes are a golden hazel with brilliant emerald flecks scattered throughout her iris and her full lips always seem to be twisted into an impish smirk. Her clothing tends to be simple and mismatched as she wears whatever she manages to "borrow" in her travels.

If one were to sum her up in three words they would have to be stubborn, ambitious, and adventurous. When McKenna meets a problem she takes it head on and refuses to take no for an answer. She is quick to make acquaintances but slow to make friends and is prone to looking for ways to turn any situation to her advantage. Meet her in rp to learn more.

An only child, McKenna grew up on a small farm in Ackerland and lead a fairly simple life much to her chagrin. She was an impetuous child finding the place that she lived to be too small and the people who surrounded her too simple. Being simple folk her parents could never provide her with the education she yearned for though they cared for her as best they could. McKenna learned the basic necessities in life, how to raise crops, mend clothes, cook and keep a cozy home but no matter how hard they tried to bring her joy it was never enough for the overly ambitious child. It came as no surprise to anyone when McKenna disappeared in the dead of night taking her parents savings along with her in search of a new home and adventure.

Angel: "You're truly too good for this world!" This kindly woman always seems to pop up when McKenna is hurt and in need of help. Awed by her kindness and abilities to heal the sick McKenna views her as an angel sent to make the world a better place. Rossu

Isaac: "You're still a thief, like it or not." McKenna likes the fellow though thinks he should know that taking houses without paying for them is still theft regardless of good intentions. Joseph12Q

The Short One: "I'm not a child!" McKenna likes the strange dwarf but his insistence upon calling her a child exasperates her. Kajuit

McKenna braced herself for the pain as she dropped down to the damp ground and leaned her back against the Storm's Landing tavern. A sharp twinge of agony shot through her leg and she sunk her teeth deep into her lip in a desperate struggle to stifle her pain filled yelp. She pulled up her pant leg and studied the bite closely, worry setting in. She didn't know much of anything about medicine and wound treatment but she was pretty sure the swelling and angry red color were not good. It had begun to seep and the pain was getting worse, she really shouldn't have turned away that nice elf who had offered to help her.
Of course nothing had gone exactly as planned since she left home. That stupid dog had damn near ripped her leg off over a simple homespun frock. The rads she pilfered from her parents quickly dwindled to nothing, though she had been careful with them, only buying what she absolutely needed. She was hungry and thirsty and Jack refused to let her sleep on the tavern floor anymore, maybe it was the smell. She considered using a portion of her meager funds to rent a room so she could bathe but what good would it do she had no clean clothes left to change into. No, this was certainly not what she expected when she left home, not by any means.
McKenna sighed and rolled her pant leg down. Nothing to be done for it but to push forward. If there was one thing she was sure of it would be that nothing could convince her to return home in defeat. She wiped the tears from her dirt stained face, reached for her walking stick and used it to push herself back to her feet. No use crying over it now, she pasted on her brightest smile and made her way into the tavern. Better find a doctor to look at this leg.
