Meta gaming is using outside knowledge that your character shouldn't know in rp to your advantage. Power gaming is making your character over powered such as killing some one instantly

I tend to find myself inside most of the time playing rpg games and minecraft. I am quite interested in DnD but never played it but i have listened to a few podcasts, my favorite podcast i have listened to so far is The adventure zone, but it is a less serious more comedic approach compared to the other DnD podcasts out there.I prefer Magic the gathering trading card game to any other. When i am outside I prefer swimming, and camping.

I wish but no I can't draw or well anything.

Flynn tentoria's old life was mostly care free working as a cook in a local tavern, but then the undead came and he fled to The Eastern Continent. During the time of escape he was separated from his family while probably still alive Flynn was now alone on a new continent by himself with unfamiliar faces for the first time in his life.
Flynn got off the boat before anyone else did eager to get a early start looking for shelter. As he got off the boat a women with a concerned look on her face called out to him “Little one do you not have any family with you?” Obviously mistook him as a child because of his height. Flynn turned around with a sigh hating being vertically challenged responded.”I am not a child i will be fine, but yes I am alone.” she seemed to be a bit taken back by flynns response at first then realized her mistake Flynn was a halfling.Without waiting for a response Flynn walked away from the boat and observed his surroundings noting the large clearing he was currently in and the forest a quarter mile away. He decided the best thing would be to set up camp on the edge of the clearing next to the forest for easy access to firewood and possible a stream or river farther in.The next few weeks went by quickly he sent up his camp with a simple lean to big enough for his gear to be dry and for him to sleep under. the other refugees had come along quite well some all ready had small houses built and tents they brought with them on the ship.
That evening the same woman who mistook Flynn as a child walked towards his camp while he was preparing his evening meal a rabbit that got caught in one of his snares. Flynn noticing her looks up and says “hello, do you need something?” she shook her head “ No I just came to apologize about assuming you were a child when we first arrived, I well didn’t have time to come the first few weeks with well everything that needs to be done.” Flynn after having finished butchered the rabbit starts to screw the meat on sticks to cook. “Its fine not many halflings are around now any way I am used to it” Flynn hated being assumed a child but decided to be polite since causing trouble would just make her stay her longer. As Flynn places the screws in the ground around the fire looks up noticing she is still there “Is there something else you needed?” “I just thought you would maybe would like to join my husband and family for dinner since, your always by yourself I thought you could use some company” Thinking that might be nice but this offer was probably out of pity “maybe some other time, but I thank you for the offer.” Thinking maybe he has been a bit isolated and in need of company, but Flynn’s main decision of going another time is probably for the food.”My name is Flynn by the way” in response “Nice to meet you Flynn, I am Elizabeth.”
Current Setting of the Server:
As the last galleys pull into port from the Northern Kingdoms, so too do they mark the end of the Exodus. A dark and desperate chapter in Altera's history.
The undead swarms had battered us, and the Sea of Storms had bruised us, yet here we were, alive. Alive in a brave new frontier to the east, and the flickering embers of our dying lands were now kindling the fires of new civilization, in a land of opportunity, vast and boundless.
Now, for the first time in a long time, there is hope. Hope of a new chapter, a new beginning and a clean slate. Yet there is also fear. Fear of the land unknown, and the danger untold. There is fear that, in spreading the light, we draw the ire of what lies in the shadows. In this new land, it even seems as if demons and the explainable come out to play.
But no matter the opinions on the subject, there is one thing that may be said for certain.
