K'rön origins (history)
(for context, Kronea = Kröna in the K'rön language.)

It is said, in the oldest books of the Larian Royal Library, that K'rön once was Krone. the drawings, texts and legends tell in a rather cryptic way of a faction of ''foreigners'', white skinned, that used to speak differently, clothe differently and think differently. Those foreigners came to the lands on which Kröna sits, in search for a ''Agmneus'' (Exodus/Utopia). What is most hotly debates in the intellectual circles of Kronea, is the mentions of a ''Steel Queen'', a woman of incredible prestige and strength, who, according to the old tales, led her ''Outcasts'', to Kronea. It it said that the very name of Kröna comes from her own name, which in Ancient K'rön was said to be pronounced ''Krone''. The drawings in the history books depict quite interesting and mysterious legions of men wearing what seems to be metal clothing, and using weapons similar to guns, pointing to the sky, with tall spike-like structures behind them, perhaps comparable to skyscrapers. It is necessary to remind that said books are several hundreds, if not thousands, of years old. Said men seem to be fleeing from something, and a single, half-erased word seem to be emerging, a word beginning with ''Ar-----x''

capture exodus.PNG
Most of the Kroneans themselves have no idea what this may refer to, nor do most intellectuals of the universities of both Kröna and the surrounding countries. There is a hot debate raging on weither those scriptures actually mean anything, or if they are the works of a few, maddened pre-historical fools, although the certain quality of the scriptures may testify that this may be a secret long lost in the passing of time. Needless to say, the people seem to have changed a lot since since such events, and there are no other current proofs of what the scriptures say, from the scriptures themselves. It may also prove why K'röns, isolated on their island, never got contact/conversion by any great religion, and always had a tradition of discarding religious belief, and also why they use a unique, square-like Alphabet to write their tongue.

Kron Government.png
The K'rön Government and State

The Krons are led by a Militarist Executive High Council. This board is mainly composed of high ranking military officials, a few Lords and Beys, and representatives of the various large consortiums. This government is itself led by an individual referred to as ''The Protector''. The position of Protector is an elective one, although it revolves on long-term mandates of 10 years. The election system for the position of Protector is private, and includes approximately 3% of the population, although this 3% often widely varies in opinion, and includes Scholars, soldiers, industrials and diplomats. The Protector then names the Prime Minister, who then establishes the Diplomatic Cabinet, let by the Overseer of Diplomacy. The Protector, also the head of all forces at the same time, is required to have at least rudimentary knowledge of military matters, to be able to properly lead Kröna in times of war.

Head of Kronea, and executive interim council leader;
Protector Iskander Valak
( Prectohr Iskandr V'alak )

Mr. Iskander Valak rose to power in K'rön politics about 2 mandates ago ( +/- 20 years ), in a time of early colonial development. He succeeded to his predecessor, Mandak Shar, in a period of tumultuous allegations of corruption, especially within the education system. Valak, with his nationalists and isolationist policies, has successfully modernized Kronea's army, and made the Militant Republic grow to a position of technological prowess, and diplomatic professionalism, even with his rather closed views. He currently belongs with the Gar'Urtok militarist political faction, those who have traditionally stood to the Right in political debates between the different militarist factions.

Protector Grand Duke Garvan Atenmor
350s5td.jpg

Grand Duke Garvan's party, the Nar'Urtok Noble Alliance, won the most recent Protectorate election, with 71,4%. Although older then his predecessor Valak, he brings interesting ideas and plan, mainly focused on the colonial expansion of Kröna, and stronger ties with the exterior, such as the Ocean Assembly. Garvan is a member of the Atenmor noble family, traditional lords of the Karam Duchy, in the north of Larian.

Prime Minister, directing all civil, expansionist and economic matters;
Minister Shielat Laria
(Amesul Vyealae L'arie)

amberin-zaman.jpg

Miss Laria came into power approximately 8 years ago, summoned by Valak's state when it was dealing with the allegations of corruption and collusion in various parts of the economy. She was then reputed as an incorruptible bureaucrat, whose interests were in Education, Industry and re-colonisation of the subcontinent. She has been since then given the merit of putting the K'rön economy back on track, with capitalist policies, that have opened the nation to the outside world even more.

The current representatives delegated to the Council of Nations;
Arslan Talmont
c371439.jpg

Arslan has by far been the oldest representative still working for the Valak government. He boasts an impressive list of successes and fullfilled positions, with various attendances at world events. Mr. Talmont is almost omni-present in the education system, where he has been named honorary rector (''Hekdre'') of the Larian Imperial Naval Academy. He is likely to be the one sent to any event by his old personal friend, Valak. Both men's fathers fought together in the great K'rön unification war, and their sons grew up together.

Indel Jalay
brosseau.jpg

Indel is a professional, nation-acclaimed diplomat and Archivist. She serves as the eyes of the Kroneans at the council, writing every little detail she can about the rites and dubious cultures of the world.

Mariah Gornov
32bf7c835e3d0ae831ccf5dea6ce7cbc.jpg

Mariah Gornov represents the Tahl'Krön, the Militant United Navy. It is widely regarded as the largest and most important of the militaries of Kronea. She is the voice of the army, and by extend, also widely represents both public opinion and governmental views. She grew up in a strict family, with both of her parents working for the army, her mother an Ace pilot and her father a naval drill sergeant.

General Solimane Garbbok-Shult
WO-AS685_IRANIS_P_20140612190056.jpg

Garbbok-Shult, a Veteran of the Krön unification war, has been leading the Krön Army for nearly 16 years. He is widely appreciated for his tact, calm and reasonable solutions to most problems, and has been part of the anti-corruption faction that recently swept through the Kronean politics. The General used to be the leader of the Vargris special force, and is experimented in any kind of engagement, but especially outer-national ones.

The Tahl'Krön
(The United Navy)
(DISCLAIMER: I apologize if certain of the Navy/Airforce numbers seem large, as I am not going to change those numbers for a while, and I really doubt they're going to come into relevance just yet. I assume my nation will have more then enough time to properly grow budget/pop wise to be able to support them when the need arises.)

The Krön military doctrine relies very heavily on the usage of it's fleet over conventional army, as the nation is largely island based. As so, most of the military state budget (Approximately 19% of total government spending; http://www.broomdces.com/nseconomy/nations.php?nation=Kronea ) is going towards the development, maintaining and construction of the Tahl'Krön (7,8%). The Tahl'Krön, or United Navy, represents the main spearhead of Kröna, as demonstrated by the golden Anchor on the National flag. It is quite versatile, sporting the material and ships necessary to intervene in a large radius of operation, if It be for humanitarian aid or prolonged military conflict. The high rating of Scientific Advancement of Kronea allows it to outfit it's ships with quite advanced technologies, as it takes pride in it's Naval forces. Being a Naval officer is a well-paid career that brings many social securities to the marines.

The composition of the Krön United fleet:

GE-Ypregen ''Orca'' Carrier - 3 in service, 2 planned in commission
Carrier 1.jpg

DE-Ecbatan ''Seer'' Destroyer - 23 in service, 3 in repair, 2 obsolete

CE-Tamihl ''Vanguard'' Corvette - 15 in service, 2 in repair

CCT-Darius ''Spearhead'' Cruiser - 7 in service, 7 in commission
USS_Port_Royal_CG-73.jpg

SE-Okeiana ''Deepstalker'' Attack Submarines - 24 in service, 15 in commission
ships-modern-historical06.jpg

Along with several dozens of support vessels, such as; Patrol Vessels, Auxiliary ships, Landing ship tanks and mine countermeasure vessels, raising the total of ships currently operated by the Tahl'krön to 121 vessels. (For a comparison, that's three less ships then Japan, but less then half of the United State's fleet.)

Anthem of the United Kron Navy;

The Far'Krön
(the Krön Airforce)
As stated earlier, the Kronean doctrine of foreign combat also heavily relies on using a quite large airforce. This airforce, which takes about 6% of the 19% of government spending put in Defense, is made to be mobile, as it is mostly envisioned to be launched from at-sea Carriers. However, Kronea still maintains a non-negligible number of military airports and complexes across the mainland, and also on the surrounding islands, to be able to respond to any eventuality.

The main composition of the Krön Airforce:
Dulmane K-5X ''Seeker'' jet fighter - 167 in service, 5 obsolete/Training planes
Dulmane K-6X ''Hunter'' jet fighter - 256 in service

It would seem I've ran out of space to put pictures in this post. Please refer to fifth post of thread!

Makedon KG-o1 ''White Dove'' Jet Bomber - 133 in service, 6 training planes
Harken YK-X ''Gallion'' Heavy Transport - between 2o and 30, 1 training plane

Along with various other models. The total amount of airplanes operated throughout Kronea just passed over a 1,000, and may grow in time. (Again, for a comparison, Japan operates 769, and the USA operates more then 5,600 aircrafts.)

The Shal'Krön
(The Kron Land Army)
The third division of the army, the Shal'Krön, represents the regular land army, and the elite division ''Vargris''. In terms of comparison with other Alteran nations, the Kron land army doesn't shine for much, apart from it's few well-designed and manufactured offensive vehicules (tanks), such as the Yaltan-01 main battle tank (see picture post 5).

The main tactics of the Land Army is simply the defense of the mainland, should the navy and airforce not be sufficient, which would be quite impressive if such a threat arose. The army is currently lead by General Solimane Garbbok-Shult, a veteran of the Krön Unification War (or K'rön Gar'Yalmud). The total military personel of the Land army is currently estimated at about 250,000 men, including support and auxiliaries.

A regular soldier of the Kron Army benefits from decent bootcamp, well-equipped and maintained weaponry and equipment, and medical help if required. They are however much less trained then their 10,000 brothers of the Vargris.

The Vargris ''White Sword'' Division
98646957_Guard_233344c.jpg

(Iran Quds Elite Force)
The ''Vargris'' (White Blade) represent a 10,000 strong Brigade of elite soldiers who have existed for centuries, for so long that their beginnings aren't even written. As far as the legends of the origins of Kröna go, it is said they were the remains of a gigantic army, from which only the best followed the ''Steel Queen'' in her quest of Exodus. Since then, the Vargris have formed the elite corps of the relatively small Land Army, and are appointed to the protection of the most vital of locations of Kronea, as well as the elite tactical missions.

Kronean natural climate

The Kronean lands are mainly composed of lush, temperate forests, which are in a great percentage made of pine trees, although there are also a raising amound of leaf trees in the northern regions. If a comparison was to be made with real life countries, most of Kr'ön could be compared to middle Europe, although the north tends to look more like the great sequoia Forests of Colorado. The temperatures, due to the lands being mostly close to water currents, are relatively high, although it is not rare to have a few centimeters of snow, especially in the southern tips, which are closer to the south pole.

f5.jpg
due to a small concentration of mountains, proof of Kronea seemingly being in a relatively low-risk seismic zone (AKA not near tectonic fissures, for anyone versed in Geology), the terrain is stable, and there is next to no risk of earthquakes, although tsunamis or tornados remain a possibility. The Krons used this to their advantage, building relatively slim, low, white cities near the water. This has proven good-looking for tourism, architecture and commerce, but may prove problematic should a natural disaster occur. The natural position of Krone makes it naturally enclined towards using and maintaining considerably large Naval forces and capabilities, and a strong Merchant Naving exists, to exploit the surrounding seas.

The official Capital, largest city, and seat of the Kronean government lies in Larian, at the endpoint of the Bay of Vash.

the Kron language.png
The K'rön (Language)

Kroneans speak in an unique language (mostly fantasy, although ressemblances to Gamillan, Turkish and Russian references. Also, Qunari from Dragon Age may sometime look similar aswell). Said language is also backed by an Alphabet, which lacks several letters the common Alphabet has.
(for reference, this Alphabet is made for the game Warframe, and the faction Corpus, to be exact.)
Here is a Translation chart:
GuildBetabet.png
(the two bottom characters represent the digits 0 and 1... there is no such thing as other digits, don't ask me why. xD)
A few Grammar particularities;

>
Kroneans tend to add apostrophes after the first letter of various words, to designate something specific. example: someone's last name, a people, a nation, etc.

>
Often, words will also be combined using the same apostrophe method if they are, in context, completing eachother. example: Tahl'Krön (Kronean Navy), Gar'Urtok (War Faction/Party).

Here is a very small compilation of some mostly political K'rön words;

(Names)

Tzal = thanks
Ghale = glory
N'eton = nation
Prectohr = Protector
Zar = Regards/Sending regards/giving attention
Keln = Calm
Y'art = Standart
Gar = War
Urtok = Party/Faction
Hekdre = Rector
Agmneus = Exodus/Utopia

(Adjectives)

orduc = Respect/Respected
Halier = Valiant

(Determinants/Pronouns)

Falh = All
Jem = We
Kal = The
Yrep = Here

What does it sound like? Well, here you go!
