Njorun has now moved to Varynhalle with her son, after losing track of Alison's constant travels. The palace servants are given their own schedules to follow, though the palace now remains without Njorun as a servant matron until Alison chooses another. She has since given up the title of Lady in Waiting, to remain as Regent of Falvaryn, until her son is of age and begins his ward.​
