I hyperventilated, I'm not even lying, there is a story behind this.

I was on the train, making the arduous journey home from university. When I decided "Hey, lets check the internet" I then produced my phone out of my pocket, and started to wander through my news feed. When bam, shades of orange and blue with the title "NEW POKEMON" flashed up onto my screen. I paused, and then read/watched everything the article contained. I then started having a mild hyperventilating session, much to the distress of the poor old woman in front of me, who literally stood up and said "Kids these days" to which I replied "Not these days, gen 3 days" in my head.

- Mega Swampert (Water/Ground)
- Mega Sceptile (Grass/Dragon)
- Mega Diancie (Rock/Fairy)
- Groudon and Kyogres "Primal" forms
As well as the new character art for:
- Team Magma
- Team Aqua
- May and Brendan
- Steven Stone

As well as speculation of further new Megas, features that may be added/kept/removed, etc.

I personally don't like what they did with Maxie.

I think Mega Sceptile will be a huge speed demon, and his new ability Lightningrod bolsters his Special Attack. I think he may have a great niche as a switch in sweeper. With the whole ice thing, it means the only thing that could really stop him is powerful priority from the likes of strong E-Speed users (M-Lucario, Rayquaza, etc) and probably the most problematic, Ice Shard (Mamoswine and Donphan in particular)

Diancie is currently average from what we know of its stats and moveset, Mega Diancie will probably be okay.

Just waiting on Steven's new hard as nails team..

Apparently he has a Mega Charizard X. I have absolutely no idea why this is, as I was sure he'd either have Mega Aggron, or a newly introduced Mega Metagross.

On the subject of Steven, think about how he always liked rare rocks and stone, then think of mega stones.
