Plenty of Professions!

Michcat

i'm the wench if you're the cake ;)
Hey there! I'm compiling some professions to help new characters who're a bit lost, or old characters that need something to do.

Eventually, these professions will be categorized by how dangerous they are in daily life, and have some small definitions to go with a few tips for roleplaying them. I'll focus initially on gathering the things.

Feel free to throw some up and contribute! I got a few to start us off:

Title: Acolyte
Details: An understudy or assistant to the Church, often tasked with performing minor duties or liturgical service. These are the followers, them who have been promoted to the highest of the most minor of positions. You've proven your worth, but you've yet to be truely useful.

I'd be happy for any additions, critique, or feedback! Don't be worried about suggesting something thats already there, I'll sort it out and make sure there aren't doubles.
Also, tell yer friends and get this poor thread some exposure :D

Seamstress
I have a 'Tailor". Do you consider them different enough?

Linguist!
We have a translator-type profession on there, I believe medieval interpreters were called Dragomen. I can totally add linguist, I'm just not sure if they're the same...

Praise the Sun with our Inquisitors.

Ranger? Demon-hunter? Beast-slayer? Heretic Hunter?

The three after Ranger could be labeled as "Sifing" however I thought I'd go to add.

Demon-hunter and Beast-slayer probably fall under 'Hero', which is coming in the next big update. I think I'll leave out Ranger, as its definition can vary, but Heretic-Hunter and Inquisitor should fit together nicely.

Thanks :D
