I made House Brus a strong, independent House for 30k, only for it to still tell me that I should spend 30k to become a strong, independent House.
It happened within the past 10 minutes, but I've supplied a screenshot below.

Do you have the 100 claimed plots required to become a big boy house? I'm guessing if no it just ate your cash and then couldn't upgrade your house. The entire plugin is still unfinished and buggy and I'm assuming you know that and want your cash back from staff.
