Build: Samael is extremely thin and unmuscled. During the day, it's something of a wonder he can walk around. At night, his physical limitations do not trouble him in the slightest, made irrelevent by his curse.
Hair: His hair is black.
Eyes: His eyes are grey.
Skin: Samael is remarkably pale.
Identifying Marks: Samael has a tattoo of a green hourglass on his left forearm. He has red eyes, and a remarkable number of people look eerily exactly like him.
Appearance: Samael dresses with such immoderate excess of gaudy golds, silvers, and gems that it could be said he parades about the wealth of entire lesser countries just in the weight of the diamonds and emeralds... sometimes. Most of the time, what he wears is concealed by heavy coats, robes, and shawls. All to better be able to ward off the sun at a moment's notice, if it becomes necessary.
Clothing: Jewelry, silk, samite, and cloth of gold are the only consistent articles of dress for Samael.
Weaponry: Samael has no weapons on his person - he is opposed to them on principle.

QUALITIES AND FLAWS:
Strengths: Samael has both a proclivity for talking fast and selling his ideas to all biders, while also possessing an analytical mind fit for accounting and calculating in general.
Fears: The slow and agonizing death of his father from syphilis, which Samael has no way of knowing was not a genetic degenerative disease, still sometimes troubles him.
Weaknesses: Samael is opposed to murder whenever possible, and personally does not enjoy battle. Not that it would, necessarily, influence business decisions.
Intelligence: While he is certainly good at some things, he also is plagued by ignorance of things outside of his niche and personal interests.

Profession: Samael still primarily considers himself a banker, even though the main provider for his business has been the sugar monopoly he has cultivated as a middleman out of Palmwood.

Personality: Samael affects an impersonal air, treating things around him with a cold and mild detachment. In private, he is quite a bit more crass and contemptuous.
Religion or Cults: Samael worships Skraag, but this isn't a particularly public thing.

Relations
Helena. Samael is certainly fond of her, and duly intends to spend eternity with her. The value proposition is simply that no one is superior, and so he will find no greater investment of his time, assuming he values things like intelligence, guile, and being overgenerous with one's bosom in an eternal partner. Which, are his only three concerns. There is certainly no love or affection involved. It wouldn't be practical. Of course.
Markus. Samael considers him a useful advocate for his business endeavors, quite wordy with the tongue of his sword and all.
Doggett. Childhood friends, Samael's relationship with him is somewhat strained. They both have a similar proclivity and skillset, but... he isn't sure what to make of him sometimes. Not to mention certain unprofessional indiscretions when Samael was still learning all the this and that of his condition, which Samael would admit some guilt over, if he spoke about it.
