James Hearts of Uthr---- has a special ability. He can wield light magic with proficiency like none other. When he figured that he could make objects out of light; he didn't stop there. He took his ability and could eventually make living creatues. He doesn't know how they became. Could it be his Aura (his magic takes a piece of him with it) or could it be the idea that light is a element that could bring forth life. He created Shine, the wolf.
Shine comes in two forms. A small puppy, and a 10-15 foot wolf. Shine grows when someone tells him to "grow" and he shrinks when you tell him to "shrink". James gave him the ability to become a big wolf when Alaila was attacked by strange men and left him with her temporarily to watch over her. Shine has claws that can cut through obsidian. He has a shield that absorbs powerful magic and physical attacks. He can leap down mountains in a few jumps. And runs at speeds up to 400mph and more.
If you ever drop by at Uthr----. You can hear his howls from miles away as he plays in the nearby desert.
