" There is no power stronger than a well-placed strike. "
Introduction - " The Cult of Praelior " is a group of unknown men and women who, in secret, yet not hide their identity, worship a true form of Kilrox believed to be titled " Praelior ". They believe that this Praelior to be a true form of Kilrox that is both more powerful than and disconnected from the Pantheon entirely. The cult worships in a chain of planned rituals that require icons or metaphorical items or skits related to the ideals of Kilrox/Praelior.

Their Ideals and Views - Cultists believe Praelior to be the icon of both immoral and careless ideals. They accept the "evil" in the world as a fact, and realize Praelior as the Father of Sin. Acts of oppression, slavery, carnage, and slaughter to be the four main ideological acts of sin. These things are only practiced when necessary, but cultists praise and worship Praelior when the sins are committed. Blood an Bloodshed are both strictly believed to be Praelior's doing, as blood is seen as his nectar, and Bloodshed is seen as a way to release essence from mortals and feed them to Praelior directly through praise and prayer.

It is also believed that Praelior is combat-oriented, as seen by many. He is portrayed as an armor-clad, infernal humanoid. Old scripts and prayers prove that Kilrox was not only worshiped by combatants, but was one of the Trio of War. The Trio of War, while being called by another name, was a trio of three gods once in the pantheon. Kilrox, Valor, and Skeira. Kilrox, the Evil of War, Valor, the Good of War, and Skeira, the Lady of War. This being said, Kilrox was evidently a powerful individual, being able to form legions and combat armies against his rivals. This being said, the Cult of Praelior follows up on the belief that Kilrox will find another outlet into Altera, as a new being, as his "essence" is part of the coalesced God of War, Crusade.

As for the relations with the rest of the Pantheon, the Cult itself recognizes the pantheon as a collective of similarly related beings intertwined to serve Altera with their ideals. It is believed that, while they can and do have domestic conflicts within their own pantheon, that they are still bound to the limits of Altera. Praelior, on the other hand, is believed to be disconnected entirely, so that he may freely do as he does within certain realms, outside of the pantheon's rules and regulations.

The Cult itself does not affiliate itself in any way with other organizations. They know that people insist on destroying organizations that follow a deity or practice the ideals considered immoral or evil. For this reason, they worship in private, and do not excessively promote the cult itself. They dislike most other organizations praising a single deity as they believe the Pantheon itself should be worshiped and that no individual inside the pantheon deserves to be considered greater than the rest.

Who They Are - A cultist does not and will not be forced to hide their identity or their faith. What they are forced to hide is the existence of the cult itself and its affiliations with the attempts are a reincarnated being of War. The cult itself has a loose ranking system of tiers. The skills of the individual do not take a play in the tier system, as the tier system is based around dedication, experience, seniority, and legitimacy. The tier system may seem redundant, but it is mostly used as a filter to ensure the more seriously dedicated individuals are recognized and respected as they truly are.
As tiers progress, they do not obtain default authority over their sub-tiers. Tiers are no more than a way to identify respect and trust. Thus, higher tiers may not automatically obtain power over their peers, but they are more likely to obtain more bountiful rewards from the higher tiers. While a sense of authority may be present with higher tiered members, it is only that in a sense of seniority equaling wisdom, and the lower ranking members simply following the respected word of the higher ranking individuals.

Apart from that, there is only one member of the Tier VII (7), and is considered the Messiah of the cult and Praelior worship. He or she is considered the master of the worship and is expected to obtain direct messages from Praelior himself, or obtain the most bountiful of rewards, be it from pillage or from a gift of god. The messiah is usually mutually agreed upon in position by the entirety of the cult and may remain in position until he or she resigns or is forcefully overthrown.

There is no term for a position within the cult. They may be called various religious titles or positions such as priest, acolyte, cultist, or faithful. While there is no technical term for the positions, they are commonly called these things. Among themselves, they call each other Brother, or Sister, considering some may not even find it comfortable to reveal their identity within the cult itself. It is no requirement to share one's identity to the rest of the cult. It may cause mutual distress if one's identity were to be hidden through the higher tiers, so it is uncommon to find someone who still hides his face through months of worship.

As mentioned before, the Cult is reclusive when praising, worshiping, or enacting a ritual. It is quite uncommon to see the Cult's entirety act as a group outside of the comfort of their own home. There is no uniform that is required to be worn outside of the grandeur of the home. There is little way to identify any sort of resemblance of a clan, cult, church, or organization just by glancing at one individual. Radicalism is held at bay and stored until praise and worship within their own territory.

Praise and Worship - The Cult does not abide by traditional praise or prayer. While, yes, sometimes you can use that little voice in your head or shout to the heavens, the cultists understand that certain ideals, symbols, and key words attract the attention of over-worldly beings, especially Kilrox and Praelior. Therefore, the cultists follow a tradition of enacting certain rituals to obtain a specific outcome. There are a multitude of different rituals that have many different requirements. These things include symbolic items, metaphorical and symbol actions, and key words or phrases to be used, all having their own order of doing to obtain certain things.
The Convoking Ritual - This is a basic, albeit thorough and special ritual enacted by the Messiah exclusively. It is done with the intentions to call forth or "Summon" the attention, presence, or diplomatic being of Kilrox/Praelior himself. The requirements of this ritual are short. A symbol of oppression is needed, a symbol of war or combat is needed, and a live sacrifice is needed. The purpose of the ritual itself is very dynamic. There is no decided symbol of oppression or war or combat. It is within the responsibility of the Messiah to decide the best ways to represent these ideals to better catch the attention of his or her deity. The only required action is that the sacrifice die of blood loss from a single wound before the words are said, and the blood lost must be painted over the ground in the shape of the hexagram whilst chanting and thanking his or her lord for the opportunity to shed blood in his honor. It is optional for the Messiah to hold an audience or not.

The Celebratory Ritual - This ritual is conducted to celebrate any achievement obtained by the cult itself. The ritual itself is done at the same time as any festival, feast, or honorary gathering that was made after the achievement of the cult. The ritual is conducted when seven hand-captured slaves are brought to public attention of the cult to do the bidding of the Messiah. The Messiah is expected to order the slaves to do whatever the gathering requires until it is all but nearly done. At the end of the original celebration, the slaves are lined in a linear fashion. The first chosen slave is to be cut enough to bleed the shape of the hexagram on the celebratory floor. If that slave is alive by the time his or her blood has shaped the hexagram, he is bandaged and set free. The rest of the slaves are aligned on each point of the hexagram. They are then all shackled to the other adjacent slaves by wrist and ankle shackles. A 12" cut is made on each forearm of each slave. All present cultists are then required to chant these words:

"Blessed be my soul to witness victory among our peers. The blood flowing bestowed as offer to The Sanguine. Take, O' father, what is yours. Our victory is your own, as we are lowly at your feet. Thank you, O' father, for the strength bestowed to conquer the trials set before us. Thank you, O' father, for life. Thank you, O' father, for your love."

Any slaves who struggle or try to run are attempted to be killed. Any slaves who survive blood loss until the end of the chant are bandaged and set free. Those not are left to rot.

I will add more to this. Please give any cliches or inconveniences a break. I'm tired with what was going on in roleplay before, so I want to do what I want to do. I am reserving this and two posts after it. I will add on more when I have time later today.
