The High Council shall be an esteemed group, compromised of the Exalted- The handpicked chosen of the Pantheon.

The duties of the High Council will be centered around the Grand Church of Altera. Aside from the actual Pantheon, the Exalted shall be the highest divine authority of Altera (Please note- "Divine" Authority, specifying that their authority shall extend purely to religious matters where the Exalted position is concerned). They will be responsible for several large decisions regarding the Church- As well as their own personal followings.
The members of the High Council are made of the Exalted, an OOC registry of which can be found in the link above- And the High Inquisitor. The High Inquisitor shall be the only member of the High Council who is may or may not be sworn unto a deity- and they must be elected by the Exalted by trial of vote or debate. Their duties will encompass, among other things:
OOC Duties:
-Coordinating and communicating with the Loremaster, who is currently ( @Michcat )
-Creating and managing threads for their specific deities following (Or, in the case of the High Inquisitor, creating and managing the thread for the Inquisition).
-Being generally friendly and awesome, even if your character is controversial
IC Duties:
-Convening upon the Grand Shrine if such a meeting is called forth.
-Respecting the Grand Shrine as a place of neutrality to both Divine and Mortal (Go war with each other outside the grounds).
-Deciding on any Trials or Ordeals to serve upon Heretics.
-Finding, and persecuting, Heresy
-Spreading the word and the glory of the Grand Church of Altera... Whether it is welcome or not.
