Do you really think Altera adheres to rules like those? I mean, c'mon, how many arranged marriages to you see? Women not allowed in the battlefield? The Church basically controlling everything ever?
It looks a little different then the era that followed those edicts, yes?

Plus, the Queen sorta does what she wants. Leminth stopped caring about tradition long time ago.

Guys. Naelwyn is king. This means that the 3 people in charge are:
Naelwyn and Leminth for altera.
and Legion for the army.

We are basically toast if we try anything.

Actually, those edicts are still followed. The previous Dutch Queen's (late-)husband was no king either :p
