Finished The Mourning of Port Silver.

The Rise [?? ???????]

Remembered.png

"Can we truly be surprised my friend, that Alterans lust for bloodshed?..." - Axex Hawklight

No, we can't. But we'll be surprised when the world remembers the pain it brought.

Who: All who remember.
What: The war launched by Harateth against the world killed millions and destroyed Port Silver. Those people do not deserved to be forgotten. This is a day of mourning for everyone who died and fought for our freedom.
When: August 23, 2014 [all day].
Where: Everywhere.

Well to be honest, I think it was Shoreless who destroyed Port Silver, and I don't think "millions" were killed... Hundreds maybe. But that's just me nit picking as usual. :)

[Actual deaths, perhaps. But Altera as we knew it was destroyed alongside people's lives. We intend to remember them. Thank you for noticing this of this day [and therefore its significance], though!]

If we were to go actual deaths it wouldn't even reach 50... This was actually a very tame battle compared to past corruption war battles. A majority of the time they telegraphed where they were going which then gave time for people to evacuate. Very few people actually died.

[Fair enough. The details of the event elude Us, but thank you for the corrections. Though as said, the destruction of the Capital would have destroyed countless livihoods, and the genocide incurred by the Corrupted of Harateth's raids countless. Hence the mourning.]

Nah it was harateth and the corruption; Shoreless just sank the area around it to keep the corruption from spreading.

Shoreless certainly did more damage than the corruption ever did. The place wouldnt be nearly as bad and infact, rebuildable, if Shorless didn't wreck the place. (Not saying it was the incorrect thing to do, just saying) :p
