If we were to go actual deaths it wouldn't even reach 50... This was actually a very tame battle compared to past corruption war battles. A majority of the time they telegraphed where they were going which then gave time for people to evacuate. Very few people actually died.

Nah it was harateth and the corruption; Shoreless just sank the area around it to keep the corruption from spreading.

Shoreless certainly did more damage than the corruption ever did. The place wouldnt be nearly as bad and infact, rebuildable, if Shorless didn't wreck the place. (Not saying it was the incorrect thing to do, just saying)
