Guild infamy & Public information

Background: The Dogs are the continuation of the previous Harlots Veil Thieves Guild. They are based out of the Tambry slums, Cochran, but are known to be all over the Northern Kingdoms. Its members mostly consist of the lower class and peasantry, whose goal is to steal from the wealthy.

Public Locations:
-Tambry (Cochran)
-Azerport?

Infamy:
-Stole a cargo ship from The Quays
-Held control over Azerport, before being driven out by an overwhelming force
-Various crimes in Tambry

Other Information:
-Pup's Pub in Cochran is a contact point
-They wear red bandannas
-The leader is a Halfling known as "The Mastiff"

Current Guild Status (According to the Public): Recovering from substantial losses at Azerport. However, nobles are still weary of The Dogs.

Internal Affairs
This is NOT public information. Only members of the guild may use this information. Please do not meta!

GUILD RULES
1. Avoid killing unless there is no other option. We are not bandits.
2. Only steal from the wealthy.
3. Guild secrets must be kept, even when facing death (both IC and OOC).
4. Orders from higher ranking guild members are to be kept for the sake of order. However, all members are equal, and leaders should be viewed with respect.
5. Return a portion of what you steal to the poor, for it was originally stolen from them.

Rankings
The Dogs have four ranks within the guild: Picks, Thieves, The Hounds, and The Mastiff. While lower ranks must obey higher ranks for the sake of order, everyone within the guild is considered equal. Higher ranks should have authority by gaining respect, rather than inflicting fear.
-Picks: This is the starting rank should one join the guild. Any new recruit is assigned to an experienced guild member as their apprentice. To become a Thief, the Pick must prove to their mentor they are ready to move on by completing various rigorous trials and performing well in the field. This is a long process, and should not be taken lightly.
-Thieves: This is the rank of more experienced members in the guild. Once granted the rank of a thief, the individual receives a new outfit and the honor of a thief name. A thief also must take on a Pick as their apprentice.
-The Hounds: The two best thieves in the guild are chosen by the Mastiff to be The Hounds. Being a Hound is a high honor, and they may take on apprentices should they wish. They act as the Mastiffs advisers and direct assistants.
-The Mastiff: The guild master. Runs the guild and plans almost all major heists. Should be highly respected by the rest of the guild.

If anyone wanted to find The Dogs IC it would practically be public knowledge that anywhere in Cochran (Tambry Slums), especially Pups Pub, they would be able to find or contact The Dogs.
