Metagaming is using OC information that your character couldn't know to their benefit.
Powergaming is deciding upon the outcomes of events, not letting the rp develop naturally e.g *I bash TyoungBD over the head with a pointy stick* instead of *I try to bash TyoungBD over the head with a stick". Also if you attended an orphanage that doubled as a top secret government ninja assassin training facility - You're Powergaming!

7. Tell us about yourself!
Hey! I'm never really sure of what to write here. . . I'm an 18 year old guy who just graduated and so far summer is shaping up to look pretty boring. I'm hoping to study physics next year - I'd love to go into astronomy. I really enjoy the whole maths side to physics, I'm not that fond of the experiments though. At least with astronomy any hands on experiments involve a giant rocket! I'm also really interested in history, reading and politics. When it comes to history, European history takes the proverbial cake. Irish medieval history in particular is really cool - Vikings, monks and clans - What's not to like? My favourite book has gotta be "Cossacks" by Tolstoy. It's actually readable, unlike some of Tolstoys other books hahaha.

Do you really want to see a blurry picture of Mars at opposition I took with a smartphone last year? No? Hahaha
9. Did anyone refer you? If not, how did you find our server?
I actually know someone who used to play on this server. She doesn't play anymore though so. . . Yep

Cyr's somewhat pointy ears pop up out of his mop of unkempt brown hair. His left ear is pierced with a copper ring - despite being a base metal of very little value, the ring was polished to perfection. Its gleam almost took away from Cyr's baby like facial features. Almost. The 27 year old's face was worn but unblemished, and often lead to him being mistaken for a child. Or maybe that was a result of his short stature. Standing at just under 4ft is hardly manly. His green eyes lie just close enough together that he is considered unattractive. The rags he calls clothes reinforce that point.

The tavern was alive. The hustle and bustle, the energy, the smell of stale beer. This was why Cyr Galpsi woke up every morning. Every empathetic bone in his small body practically compelled him to! These common folk humbly go about their day to day lives, toiling in the fields or the lord's manor. They're not unhappy - just ignorant. Completely oblivious to life's full potential. That was why Sallana put people like Cyr on Altera. To spread the whole range of harmonies to the deepest corners of the Northern Kingdoms. It's not an easy job. The crowd is your king, the mob your master and the tavern your home. It is the job of the noble bard to interpret the wishes of those he serves, however elusive the signals may be. "Oh what's that? You want another"?
"An angsty young Halfling named Finn,
Could barely come up to her chin,
She sighed and lay down
With a curse and a frown,
So poor old Finn could slide i-
The crowd stood still. The mob was silent. Their confusion was palpable throughout the tavern. A shrill voice called out from across the crowded room - the barkeep. " Who 're you? I 'ought we told you to take a 'ike, ya dirty 'ittle 'alfling". Now it was Cyr's turn to be confused. There was blatant treachery in the ranks. "Relax" he thought "My good patrons will protect me". Even the tyranny of the barkeeper could not withstand the might of the drunken mob. Not with Cyr Galpsi at its helm. It was time to get what he came for.
With a bard's flourish, Cyr took off his hat and proffered it towards his audience. "Remember to give generously - Those Limericks were all original"
