20 years old.
3. What country are you from?
The USA.

Indeed, I have.
5. In your own words, how would you define metagaming and powergaming?
Allowing information that you have as a player (but not as a character) to influence your actions in character, and roleplaying your character as having an unreasonable amount of power compared to where they are at in their life.
6. Do we allow X-Raying mods or X-Ray texture packs on the server?
Of course not.
7. Name one of our current Mentors.
Jase, Tiberione.
8. Tell us about yourself!
Oh, boy, a whole five sentences about me? I'm not really sure if I'm physically capable of that. My name is Ursane, I play a lot of videogames, mostly competetive games such as League of Legends, but Minecraft has always held a special place in my heart. I'm staff in a Discord Living World Pathfinder Server, but apart from that, there isn't a lot interesting about me. I've been roleplaying for quite a long time, but when it comes down to describing what is fun or unique about myself, I draw a blank. I feel like many people do. Perhaps that's part of the horrifying nature of our own existence; many of us cling to a few key points of ourselves that we feel define us, but what are we really but a collection of muscles and other tissues propelled by the erratic firing of our synapses? Are any of us truly unique?
But anyways, yeah, I'm basically a shitty memelord so please don't hate me too bad.
9. Do you have any examples of your work?
Unfortunately, I really don't document most of my work.
10. Did anyone refer you? If not, how did you find our server?
RagingLunacy, though I'm not sure if he goes by that username, he plays Linden.
About Your Character!
This section is about the character you intend to use once you join the server. We ask that new players follow these guidelines during this portion of the application:
Character Name:
Felix Avendale.
Character Age:
19 years old.
Character Race:
Human.
Appearance:
Felix is a young human man standing at five feet, seven inches tall. He boasts dirty blond hair and brown eyes with a slight tinge of green around the irises. He's quite kind and optimistic due to his upbringing, always smiling, laughing, and upholding a rather playful attitude to try and keep his stress levels low. He tends to dress simply and as light as possible, preferring robes over tunics and trousers, and those robes almost always come in light colors with floral patterns, often sewn or drawn by his own hand.
Written Test!
This was it. It was finally time for him to inoculate himself into the true world of Altera.
Shifting the pack on his back, Felix smiles at the sprawling city of Storm's Landing, doing his very best to convince himself that he wasn't as heart-poundingly nervous as he really was. Having grown up on a small farm on the peninsula to the East, Felix had actually never left his family's old property; his parents were both incredibly overprotective. While his father had taught him how to defend himself well in melee, and always told him fantastic stories of the adventures of his youth, the only land that Felix truly knew of other than his home was this very city, where his father journeyed to sell what they had reaped from the fields. His mother having passed years ago of an unexplained illness, and his father just recently succumbing to old age, Felix decided that now was the perfect time to face the world at large, see what it had to offer him.
Of course, it helped that his father had withheld from him a rather important secret for all this time. That farm, the home that he had known his whole life, it never truly belonged to them. They had no deed to this land. His father had simply found the farmhouse abandoned and claimed it as his own while his wife was pregnant. They needed a home. This news, frankly, changed Felix's entire outlook on his life. He couldn't remain on this land knowing that it wasn't his own. That was wrong. His father had done at least one thing right, and that was raise a young man with strong morals. Felix made a vow to some day come back and purchase this land legally. Until then, he had to leave and make a name for himself. For his family.
Looking down at his own feet, he took a single step further. The first step in the beginning of the rest of his life. He wanted to remember what that looked like... he'd probably paint it later. He did that, often. One of his favorite pastimes growing up was his art, be it painting, embroidering, sometimes even carving. He always had a simple knack for picturing something in his mind and successfully projecting it into the world with his own two hands, though he would certainly still call himself a novice. One day, he would master his arts. Still, the time for that would come; now was the time for adventure.

About Your Character!
This section is about the character you intend to use once you join the server. We ask that new players follow these guidelines during this portion of the application:
- Characters begin with basic skills and gear. No advanced armor or weaponry. Skills and abilities are appropriate to a novice level. Skills should be learned through roleplay, not through backstory.
- Characters fit the lore. If you choose to play as a Moor Elf, for example, we expect appearance and details to be fitting with base lore.
- Characters cannot use magic in any way. The test itself should not mention magic either. HollowWorld uses a restricted magic system and it is only accessible to those who find and learn from a teacher in-game.
- Tests should not be violent. No murder, killing, death, torture. In the past, 8 out of 10 applications featured characters fighting off bandits or slaying passersby. We don't want to see how well you can script a fight scene. We want to see how well you can tell a story, how well you can roleplay.
- Be creative and be original. Do not use tests/characters whose home villages were burned, parents murdered, and then set off to be an orphan assassin. It has been done before. Please don't do it again.
- Written portion of the test is required to be a 400 word minimum. If the test doesn't meet the minimum, Staff may ask you to extend the test before the application is considered.
