Having now ben defeated an embarrassingly large amount of times, Wyvern is now seeking guidance and training in the art of combat. He prefers knives, but any type of training is highly appreciated. There will be a payment if requested.

If you're damned good at talking people into doing things, I've always believed Altera needs more Pyromaguses. Though, you'd have to talk Basil into teaching you....

Oguk can teach you unarmed , axes , heavy weapons etc. AKA how to fight like a man.

Nova can teach you how shoot with a bow, and he is quite forgiving, and Epsilon can train you to be better with daggers and short swords, but he is very unforgiving; you make a mistake, that's it.

How does one go about convincing Basil to teach them?

related question - are there any pyromagi willing to teach? I had Erron begin my training, but he was killed before I got very far.

I know of one other Pyromagus who probably won't teach you and is little known. And you have to be damned persuasive to talk Basil into teaching you. Though, if you accomplish this, I'm more than willing to.

It would be awesome to manage to be taught by basil, but there are only a few problems...
