Try Kantai Collection(The anime not the game lol) and Shirobako next, pretty fun.
And yeah I really hope Sakurasu gets a second season

Shirobako - Anime about an Anime studio and its workers; Slice of Life, Drama

Kantai Collection:
Similar to Arpeggio of Blue steel - A fleet of enemies suddenly appeared and drove Humanity off the sea. Later the spirits of (WWII) ships came back to drive them off the sea. Although the only ships I have yet to see in the game are either German or Japanese you go get that it is a global problem from a Novel.

Kantai Collection: Slice of Life, Drama, Fantasy? Comedy?

- There goes my respect for fast battleships lol

Not Introduced Ships:

Black hair: Nagato, Nagato Class Battleship
Brunette: Mutsu, Nagato Class Battleship
Light Blonde: Shimakaze, Shimakze class Destroyer
Brown: Fubuki; Fubuki Class Destroyer

Kongou Sisters: Kongou Class Fast Battleship.

Might I inquire as to the dating of these picture recommendations? I note a distinct lack of Urobuchi series (Fate/Zero, Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass), among other more recent releases.

The fun thing about KantaiKolelction/Kancolle is how every ship has its own personality quirks that partly relate to their past.

From the game for example (pretty sure they won't do that joke in the anime lol):
Mutsu was sunk due to one of her sailor's setting fire inside one of her turrets. The turret exploded causing her to sink so she is really paranoid of fire, to a point where she constatly asks the player not to play around with fire.
Nagato on the other hand remembers her sinking in a 'flash' (Operation Crossroads --> Nuclear test)

I see the Old Yamato on there so its probably something gathered throughout a Long time.
The Remake Yamato 2199 for example isn't on it either.
The latest anime I could spot where actually Kimi ga Nozomu Eien(prep some handkerchiefs for the first 3 episodes if you plan on watching this )and Spice and Wolf

I've been collecting these every time I see one since I quite often run out of things to watch. The earliest one is about 2009, the latest, about 2013.

You shouldn't feel cheap, I just use it because 1080p streaming, keeps track of episodes you've watched, queues and shows a lot of new releases that are easy to find. It's more about convenience.

TL;DR I'm lazy.

Edit: Also the app is very useful as I watch most of it on my phone.
