It is true. Those within the greater Sudstaat valley and the Hartlands are struck by the sight of plumes of smoke arising into the air from the woods due south of Blackrush. Various reports say a brutal ambush gone horribly wrong occurred on a supply convoy delivering much needed aid to the town.

Rumor has it that deep in the south in the city of Slyannen there was a devastating fire. Most of the city has been left to ruin for a small period of time before a number of large sea vessels could be seen making their way to the ruins.

Rumour begins to spread from Queensport about people finding odd holes in basements and storages, and a faint... skittering further beyond wherever these holes lead. There is also rumour of one or two women missing, but being from the brothel they're not spoken about so much. The people petition the nobility to help ensure there is not another outbreak of spiderlings from the rift, and several fearful traders have already departed the city just in case.

Unsurprising to most, word would spread of yet another fight in the Landing. Two were wounded by an elf who's now left dead, falling at the hands of a young man that had arrived at the scene. The horrible bloodshed's aftermath found by the tavern goers left most in conflicted reactions and sparked many rumours. Where are we to go if even the taverns are battlezones?
