A memorial is to be placed by the docks as tribute to those lost during the undead outbreak in Storm's Landing--an obelisk of black glass with a figure, vaguely humanoid reaching out, composed of ash.
The ashes of those lost.
Something tangible for those who lost loved ones during the evacuation.

Nah, there was a pyre hosted by people that ran out of space to bury the deceased--he gathered ashes from that. Which is still weird.
