Tarnished Water - Expert
Decades ago, though still fresh in the memory of the Astrakosians, the first battle took place between Astrakhan's army and the rebel Royalists.
The people still speak ill of the place where it happened, warning folks not to go near it, for the many dead will surely wake at your tread.
This site of superstitious beliefs, where many a man shed its lifeblood on each other's blades, now has become a site of interest to the Historians Union.
Who: Anyone with 2 or more dice in the Lore skill, who has read the rules of Archaeology, and was invited by Blorbis83
What: Opening the new Tarnished Water Dig Site! [See HERE]
Why: Gathering the first Relics privately, after which it becomes public for pop-up Archaeology events.
Where: The battleground South-East of Astrakhan
When: Tuesday 24th of May, 20:00h CEST
How does it work?
Characters use up to 3 Action Points to carry out an Archaeological Dig.
They start by searching for a place with potential historical significance, which is called a Dig Site.
They then search the Dig Site for places that might contain historical items, these places are called Excavation Sites.
After locating them, they prepare the site, in order to find historical items, these are called Thematic Relics.
To get a Thematic Relic, one emotes out their actions and rolls their lore dice.
Depending on the number of successes, they find a Relic in classes Common to Legendary.
Once found, they will need to repair the damaged Thematic Relic with HC items.
Tarnished Water is classed as Expert, so the items required will be Garulf Pelt, Exceptional Leather, and Machanite.
Once repaired, you can then add the Thematic Relic to your collection, sell it to a museum, or sell it to the Historians Union for Renown.
Renown is spent on increasing the chances to find rarer relics, saving up on AP, or buying the Archaeologist title.
