Name: Star Singer
Description: A long sword that reflects the night sky in the blade as if one looked at the stars. If it's daylight, it'll look as if it's a plain sword with an ordinary oak hilt and crossguard.
Effect: The weapon makes the attuned desire it when they look at it and are around it. It gives a short confidence boost upon wielding it. Around certain areas of the continent at night, the blade will softly glow white. (Contact a Staff Member if you test it out at night)

Name: Chasm
Description: A two handed weapon that can shift with a minute of focus from an axe, to a warhammer, to a zweihander, a blade of dark, near black metal that is streaked with veins of glowing amber.
Effect: It is slightly heavier than any usual version of its three forms, but in return, it has the ability to create small chasms in any surface like an axe that hacks into wood. Said chasms cannot be more than three blocks deep and five in length. When swung, the weapon emits dark almost red sparks.

Name: Slither
Description: A small thin shard of almost glass-like metal, broken from a blade that held far more power. It is always sharp, but cannot ever be remade into the dagger it came from.
Effect: Effect: Once per OOC week, this item can be used to 'slip through' the Veil. After a round, the attuned slashes in the direction they want to be and vanishes in a flash of bright light. They slip into the Planar, where they do not remember what they see or interact with. After 1d3 rounds, they appear somewhere within 10 meters that they could originally see. The longer they remain in this foreign place, the more chaos they find: scars, headaches, aches - up to player or DM flavor. They reappear a little disoriented at the spot they intended.

Name: Torchlight
Description: A quarterstaff that seems to be made of a dark metal with sections of red crystal through the upper half almost resembling ice. It is as light as wood.
Effect: It has the physical properties of steel and is therefore hard to destroy, but if it is, it burns into ashes and reforms within an hour in the hand of its owner. Up to three times a day it can steal flame to keep lingering upon the top, which can then be thrown or kept as its own torchlight. Fire can be stolen from any source, but it will never exceed the amount beyond a torch worth. This extinguishes existing torches or candles but only briefly dims fireplaces and bonfires. Flame can be kept atop the stave for up to one hour before it extinguishes, and it is limited to a range of five blocks if thrown.

Name: Guidance
Description: A silver compass with a lid etched of a snowy wonderland.
Effect: It may be focused upon for five minutes to make it point towards whatever is wanted most. It may also, once per day, be used to create an icy shield before the user the size of a tower shield, thick enough it would take a hardy hammerswing to shatter it. This shield forms over ten seconds.

Name: Gryphon Call
Description: A golden ring that appears as if two claws wrap around to hold a stone of amber.
Effect: The wearer finds themselves able to commune with the ‘lead’ gryphon on the Isle of Drachenhort providing they are within sight of it. It is at DM discretion what is said, but it is a mental link able to be broached. Keep in mind it is not human, and will not have a casual chat. They are also able to know if the beast has been severely injured or killed.

Name: Mirror of Connection
Description: A simple silver hand mirror, the back etched with designs and scenes of a winter wonderland.
Effect: Up to three times per day, the owner may focus upon the mirror for one minute and offer to broach a connection with another on the same plane. The other must accept the connection, and their face will appear in the mirror but their background is a blur and unable to be deciphered. To them, the face of the mirror owner appears before them. They may hold a brief conversation for up to five minutes. If someone opts not to accept the connection, it still counts towards one of the three daily uses.

Name: Extra Time
Description: A large hourglass reaching 30cm in height, the sand a pure white like snow. As it falls through, the sand disperses into tiny snowflakes, and vanishes. Once it has been turned for one person, it is linked to them, and will vanish when the time is up.
Effect: Once turned, it links to that individual, and no matter what way it is turned after then it still falls in the same manner. It extends the natural lifespan by ten years, effectively pausing the aging process from the moment it is turned. Contact Lore when it is used, and it will hold one OOC year in equivalent timing (or sooner, if you wish).

Description: A longsword of unique material. The crossguard is a dark blue steel, the hilt similar though wrapped in a lighter blue leather. The pommel holds a stone that holds the shape and colour of ice though it never melts. The blade itself is of immortal diamond.
Effect: The wielder of the sword finds themselves protected from the bitterness of the cold to a degree that keeps them more comfortable, not immune to it. The blade itself is able to inflict significant damage simply as a result of what it is made of.

Description: A longbow made of Silverwood, with a few small snowflakes placed here and there without interfering with the material itself. It is, as a result of its material, entirely silver in colour.
Effect: It is incredibly hard to break, and would take extreme or otherworldly force to do so, and it does not burn. It is also half as heavy as any generic longbow, despite this having no impact on its strength and effectiveness as a bow.

Name: Sanctum
Description: A kaleidoscopic tear in reality of varying hues and shades of iridescent purples and blues.
Effect: When a mage attempts to walk through this tear in reality, they find themselves transported to a whole new place. The room in which they find themselves is furnished in the ways of a typical stately study; walls lined with bookshelves, a large desk table and a blazing hearth. - No means of scrying or spying spells may be cast to find those inside this room; they instead fizzle and fail as though the person sought cannot be found. - Upon leaving the room, every mage must halve their remaining spell pool for that day. Those who have no use or capacity for magic, or those who are Divinely blessed, are unable to enter in the first place. - Everything that is done, said and written in this room must be OOCly documented in an ongoing log with the lore team and the divine coordinator in accordance with Magic's own surveillance in the room's goings on. This is the price they must pay for privacy from all other prying eyes.

Name: Dopple's Globe
Description: A collection of highly intricate metal workings similar in appearance to the innards of a watch, arranged in a globe. With many small levers and switches, the globe responds to each manipulation with subtle movements internally and externally—the complexity is such that it is practically impossible to tell what any combination of any type of movement will do. It is weighty, appears to be solidly made, and approximately the size of a baseball. The globe is made of a brilliant chrome silver metal which is impact resistant but not impervious to damage. Excessive heating, quenching, and/or impact will destroy the artifact. If it is broken, all effects end and it can not be repaired.

Effect 1 (Optional activation): Users take no special interest in the globe until they begin to manipulate it. In doing so, users become certain that there is a secret hidden inside. After approximately ten hours of usage (zero for Cogimens), the user inadvertently finds their mens restructured in such a fashion that they are able to telepathically communicate with a voice from within the globe… (Users can “summon” the teachings and wisdom of Josef Mandovi. To do so, they must be actively manipulating the globe, which may be done during a trance state.)
Effect 2 (Optional activation): The user finds that the more they use the globe and fiddle with its machinations—which they find increasingly compelling—they feel more and more like someone else, someone who is somehow, more them… (PC becomes Josef Mandovi in mind but not body. Effect lasts as long as the user is in possession of the Orb, so long as they continue to manipulate the orb for at least one hour every five days. Every day that the user does not manipulate the orb for at least one hour, the strength of Josef’s personality fades until it is gone entirely on the fifth day. Josef is at “full power” when the user has, for five consecutive days, spent one hour manipulating the orb. Each day he does not spend this hour, he drops a level in his ability: down to Adept, then Journeyman, Apprentice, and on the last day before Josef disappears entirely, no powers at all.)[/ISPOILER]

Description: A fan approximately 7 inches long made of eagle feathers.
Effect: Once per OOC day, the fan can summon a mighty gust of wind that can steer ships or kick up a cloud of dust. The user must use their full strength to get maximum effectiveness from this item. It takes 2 emotes to form this action.

Description: It appears to be a crown made of fused bone or antlers.
Effect: The antlers making up the crown were once the pride of the largest Wendigo known at the time, and through some unknown influence it still affects the wendigo of today. When worn, wendigo seem to treat the wearer with some measure of fear or respect and refuse to attack them unless provoked to violence.

Description: A small ring of native aluminum ore, polished.
Effect: Upon wearing the ring, the player must select one personality trait that is negative of their character. The ring amplifies this personality trait much more than it would have been before. This could be something repressed like a secret sense of greed, or an arrogant character can become even more arrogant than they were before, for example. At the same time, their general intelligence increases substantially. This is not intelligence in any particular field, and can be portrayed by the player in whatever way they think is appropriate. Taking off the ring for any reason stops the effect.

Name: Onyx Ring of Chaos
Description: A silver ring with an Onyx gem.
Effect: The wearer conjures a swirling cloud of gray mist that expands to envelop a range of 5 blocks around them over the course of a single round (1 minute). After this round, the wearer dissipates into said mist and another cloud of similar size forms within 20 blocks. Between 2 to 4 rounds (1-2 minutes), the wearer reappears within the second cloud. Usable once per day.

Name: Azure Amulet of Desire
Description: An azure blue amulet on a white string. It is a blue crystal encased in silver forge-work, on a horse-hair string, which is quite itchy. There is a very dark almost undetectable swirl of black in the heart of the crystal.
Effect: Anyone wearing this item will appear desirable to those who regard him or her. A man who likes women with black hair will see the wearer with black hair, even if she really has blonde hair. A straight man looking at another man will regard him as someone with influence, and would like to be their friend. It's more of a nudge and affection that is created rather than that those who see the wearer being entirely enchanted by their appearance.
Curse: Whoever wears the amulet will deform over time. The longer the amulet is worn, the more hideous this person will become. The amulet will however hide this, making it a vicious circle which is hard to step out of. It hides imperfections, but if worn for too long, someone may disfigure as much as growing uneven sized teeth, large warts, hanging skin and spots of infected looking skin.

Name: Leeching Broadaxe of Blood
Description: A blood-stained axe imbued with a leeching effect.
Effect: This only has an effect when wielded by a vyre. When the blade draws blood from another, the blood stains the blade of the axe and seems to absorb into it like water into a dry sponge, and what blood is transfused in this manner is treated as having been consumed by the wielder.

Effect: It has unknown effects, though those who gaze into it seem to become more and more obsessed with doing so, convincing themselves that if they watch for long enough, they'll see something.

Effect: This blade has all the properties of high quality steel, and can be treated as such, but should the blade ever be broken, it bleeds as if arteries have been severed. Should any Blessed individual touch the blade, they feel a stinging sensation as blood is drawn to the surface of their skin.

Description: An orb of glass that is strong enough to be dropped and not shatter. Within is a shimmering dark blue in mimicry of the ocean depths.
Effect: Once per day (up to the player), the orb seems to beckon the holder to stare into the depths, and for five minutes they seem to truly lose themselves in fascination with it. Upon rolling a d2 the result varies; a 1 reveals a calm and serene view and calms them after but a 2 has them feel horror at lurking unknowns that lingers for the next hour.

It does not extend that immunity to its wearer if they're hit directly, but will keep the wearer warm in cold or chilly atmospheres. In addition, the fibers of the fabric will minimize blunt force (kinetic energy), and the cloth becomes rigid when pressured. It can be pierced through, but not cut or torn completely.

It will otherwise, not extend its immunity to the wielder. If touching small fires, such as a campfire, it will absorb the heat and turn it into embers.

It is limited in total to one individual so long as they do not exceed 180lbs - but this does not mean it can carry multiple people either.

Description: A soft white quill pen.
Effect: A quill that writes without any need to dip it into ink, as if always holding enough. Anything written with this quill comes out in blue ink.

Description: A silver mask etched with snowflakes and swirls on the edges and temples. The approximate right half of the mask looks a bit weathered compared to the generally pristine left side.
Effect: The mask is smooth, and once placed upon the face, it half curls around the head of its wearer so as to not require straps of any kind to keep it secure. Those seeking to take it off with force will find they are unable to find a good grip on the edges to do so effectively.

It has no limitation on how many times it can be summoned forth, so long as the circlet is on their head, but it will take five minutes between dispersing and re-appearing. If the shape is hit with force, it shatters, and if it is ‘taken’, it turns to snow.

If the wearer twirls the ring or rubs at the gemstone, they will find they can derive a sense of calmness, a clarity of mind, and the cooling of a hot temper. They find that they have a better control of their emotions by way of understanding them, and anything that alters their emotions unnaturally will be noticed as a result.

Their blood whilst it is within their body or upon it (such as bleeding from a wound) is akin to holy water and will burn any Vyre who tries to touch or consume it. The necklace itself burns the hands of any Vyre who touches it, even through the fabric of a glove.

Description: A longsword fashioned of quality steel, with an ability granted to the attuned that allows them to shape the tool to Luck's desire. Effect: Once per day, the attuned is required to roll a dice to dictate the blade's shape for that given day. Once per day, the attuned is granted the ability to re-roll once, provided that the situation is based in luck and not in combat. DM discretion is practiced given this artifact, and all measurements of time apply to OOC days.
1-2: Lucky Edge thins drastically, becoming a rapier within the attuned's hands. The weapon is balanced very well, with a point sharpened and prepared for combat.
3-4: Lucky Edge takes the shape of a mundane steel longsword, with a hilt bound in exquisite leather.
5-6: Lucky Edge shrinks downward, taking on the form of a capable shortsword. The hilt sits comfortably in the hand of the attuned, and its steel is of quality.

Description: A crown of various unknown bones of creatures not previously documented.
Effect: Upon wearing this crown for an hour, the item holder will find that their bones become more brittle, easier to break, but they grow bone wings from the shoulderblades with a thin membrane between the bones, and their finger bones elongate into sharp talons. The wings can be moved, but not with enough force to knock someone back, nor can they be used for flight. Thrice daily the wings can allow for a brief period of gliding, of a maximum of ten blocks distance, for example from rooftop to rooftop. Cannot be armoured or carrying anyone during.

Once per day, it may also willed to the strength of a campfire in light levels for the duration of one hour.

The memory may be restored when triggered by an experience/event related to what they forgot or through the influence of someone else reminding them.

Spells cast with this stone in effect take on a dark purple/midnight blue colouration. Held weapons used as a Focus take on a night sky motif, with a swirling nebula of stars and deep purple hues visible along the emitter.

Description: A hand but made entirely of quartz, able to move as any hand of flesh but with the appearance of pale quartz. It glows a soft crimson hue, illuminating a skeletal structure beneath the surface. During spellcasting, the crimson hue intensifies.
Effect: It cannot be tampered with by Formistry or any other form of transmutation, meaning it cannot be healed through Arcane means. Spells cast through it take on a crimson colouration, with excessive spellcasting giving the sensation of his lower arm burning within. Any injuries can heal over time at half the usual pace for mortal flesh, though divine spells can still fix injury.

Description: A mirrorwood robe of dark blue and purple hues, near black. Over the surface are softly glowing stars that mimic the night sky, occasionally showing slowly drifting constellations that may be overhead that time of year. A gemstone of swirling purple and blue colours rests at the chest.
Effect: Damage to the robe can be repaired by exposing it to starlight overnight, wherein any tears to the material are regrown. The stone cannot be absorbed or used as a heartstone.

Name: Qlippoth's Fleshcrafted Right Arm & Hand
Description: The skin between elbow and wrist hangs loosely for about 4inches, appearing as an extra membrane, similar to a bat's. It's tinted a sickly green-yellow. A part of the forearm bone splinters to outline it. The hands appear porous, the fingers longer and boney by an extra 2 inches. It leaves behind a bit of mucus and residue, occasionally.
Effect: The forearms can be tough to slice or stab (with the armor defense of DC 3), but the bone of the arm remains unprotected and can break when hit by blunt damage. Once a day - The porous hands can excrete acid, equivalent to Alchemist Acid I, and be used against targets at touch range. These mutations make it uncomfortable to wear any clothing or armor on top of it, causing severe rashes and inflammation beneath. The Mutant inherits an unnatural hunger for acidic foods, often at the cost of stomach issues.

Name: Righteous Ruler
Description: A ring forged from an unidentified glistening silvery metal, with a twinkling diamond inlaid into its metalwork. Swirling dark shadows are visible in the facets of the gem.
Effect: When worn, this ring grants the user advantage on any Guile checks they make. The ring also provides a glamour, making the wearer appear to be far more intimidating and menacing than they actually are. However as a consequence, the user is cursed the first time they wear the ring. When the ring is removed for more than one minute, the user seems to shrivel up, seeming to look more diminutive, meek and weak to any observers. They have disadvantage on Guile checks when in this cursed state. This curse is removed when a new holder takes up the ring. The advantage and disadvantage of the effect does not apply to casting.

Description: A hand-sized orb, blackened by the accumulation of years of soot and grime from the smoke of Nid Arach's chimney.
Effect: Once a day, when activated by the wielder, the smoke within the orb evaporates, leaving a gas of soot within a 4x4x2 area. If unhindered by natural or supernatural gusts, the gas lingers for 5 rounds of combat (50 seconds) before dispersing. Anyone caught in the illusionary soot is unable to see past their hand. The orb is empty until it is refilled the next day.

Name: Meir Rétà
Description: A tattoo of a dagger inside a mountain is set upon a designated wrist of the holder. The dagger twirls and dances when looked at closely.
Effect: As an action, a steel throwing dagger can appear upon the hand of the wielder, its handle of sturdy brass and a marking of the mountain etched on its pommel. With another action, it can return to the tattoo upon the wielder's wrist, wherever it may be. The dagger vanishes from the mountain when summoned out. In order to pass on the object, the wielder must die, have the tattoo cut into or place their wrist against a willing target. If the dagger leaves the premises of the wielder for more than an hour, it returns immediately back to the tattoo.

Description: A small casting of a bee in bronze. Approximately 3 inches in length.
Effect: As a constant effect, a swarm of bees will be attracted to and follow the owner around. They seem to aid in pollinating flowers around the owner's living space and help them in beekeeping without becoming stung. They disappear when indoors, in extreme temperatures and when the owner is in combat. But new ones will return in attraction when they return to reasonable climates. Cannot be used to harm others.

On the note of traditional combat, the shield is utterly atrocious for it, because any blow will either shatter the shield or just pierce through it. However, the shield will regrow from its largest piece, as long as it is subjected to an extreme of temperature for a period of many days.

Description: An ornate bidenhander Eviscism focus with a straight, longsword-shaped crossguard and parrying lugs, with its very own ornate designs. The handle is long, offering good control and leverage over the long blade. The pommel is a swept, silver cage, and on the inside, a star tetrahedron heartstone, or a Nether Star, which glows a bright, pure white.
Effect: Mage can roll a second roll after their initial spell roll, and if succeeding a separate DC, their spell becomes two projectiles, flying parallel, swirling through the air towards their target. Description: A long and wide sword made seemingly of dense ice with a jagged, but sharp and narrow edge. It is exceptionally light. A light mist wisps around the blade. The edge itself has a sharpness on-par with obsidian tools.
Effect:
Spirit of the North: When in the far north, the blade retains the durability of mundane steel, whilst keeping its extremely sharp edge. It is immune to minor, non-structural damage that otherwise would need to be sharpened or maintained on a mundane sword. When any further south, the blade becomes at risk for breaking. When striking against anything that isn't soft material (flesh and fabrics), or defending against any attack with the sword itself, roll a d20. A roll of 5 and under will see the blade shatter completely. Anywhere that is warm most of the time, such as deserts, tropics, rain forests, nether, etc. will see the blade melt in a matter of minutes. The attuned always knows the direction of North.
Frostborn: The blade holds the temperature of ice, but will not melt so long as it is within the chilly North or moderate regions of the world. The attuned feels their body chilled to just before the point of discomfort, despite what they wear. They can comfortably traverse the frozen north with only moderate clothing. The attuned can last thrice as long in freezing water, and cold spells against the attuned are effectively halved. Close proximity to large fires (bonfires or larger) for any longer than thirty minutes will see the blade shatter, and become a mundane chunk of ice. Fire or heat spells will not immediately shatter the blade, unless they expose the blade to the flame for more than a minute. They will, however, burn the attuned a degree higher than thy normally would. Intentionally holding the blade in fire, or intentionally abandoning (unattuning) the sword will see the attuned's dominant hand blacken with frostbite in a matter of seconds, falling off completely at the wrist.

Effect: A seemingly innocuous idol that, when kept in one's possession when falling asleep with it, causes thereafter the wielder to be unable to sleep. No mater how hard they try, they will always have an insomniac compulsion to stay awake, their state of consciousness eventually deteorating to that of a mild daze of drowsiness, but no worse than that. To stop the effect, one has to dunk the idol in water and then not sleep with it on their person again.

Effect: These boots are just ordinary, albeit colorful boots. However, when activated, they freeze any and all liquids the soles of the boots touch up to 2 meters (2 blocks) of impact. This does not affect living matter (i.e. blood in someones body). The boots can be activated not more than once every ooc day by clicking the heels of the boots together. Roll a DC 10 for success. If failed, the boots freeze together and the wearer can't walk or take them off for 3 combat rounds (15 minutes). If successful, the freeze effect will last 3 combat rounds (15 min) and the wearer may traverse a maximum of 20 meter (blocks) before the spell wears off. (so they have within 15 mins of activation to actually use the spell.)

Name: Heart of The Sea
Physical Description: The Heart of the Sea is an immense pearl around the size of a man’s head. Its iridescent sheen shifts and flutters of its own volition, as if perpetually bathed in light passing through the waves. The pearl may be broken by normal force; if hit by something like a hammer, it will shatter and go inert.
Ability:
Wielded by a mortal, the Heart of the Sea offers limited control over the waters of its namesake. It has three ‘charges’ per day, which may be used for any of the following:
Propel (1 charge): Waters swell around the ship currently occupied by the attuned, bearing it freely upon the waves. While under this effect the ship may move up to its maximum sailing speed in any direction, as guided by the attuned. Lasts 8 hours. Does not allow a ship to exceed its maximum sailing speed, but will carry it at that speed regardless of adverse conditions.
Displace (1 charge): Water is driven away, and a bubble of breathable air five meters in radius surrounds the Heart of the Sea. This only works when beneath the water level in large, natural bodies of water. Lasts up to 8 hours, and ends if the Heart of the Sea leaves the water.
Wrath (2 charges): Raise a large wave from the sea within 100 meters, of size to disrupt the movement of a mid-size ship. Rowboats, canoes, and other similar-sized vessels are capsized. It deals no lasting damage to structures.

Effect: The holder of this weapon thirsts for conquest. For victory. Any wounds given by this weapon will continue to bleed for twice as long as they should, and no magic will work on them, only mundane methods. The scars left behind remain red, and the skin around it becomes littered in faint red veins. The holder, over time, will find their skin grow pale and their eyes become black, with the desire for conquest and victory only growing more so over time. Name: The Bleeding Goblet
Description: A goblet carved of obsidian, ancient in origin.
Effect: Whenever someone tries to drink from the goblet, it unerringly cuts the lip of the person drinking it, by design. However, whatever liquid is placed into the goblet and then stirred slightly (such as just by moving the goblet) will cause the liquid to change into a sort of ambrosia. It assumes a deep red color that spreads through it from some indeterminate point like a drop of dye until the entire drink is a strange, opaque maroon. Pouring the liquid out into another container causes it, upon passing the lip of the goblet, to turn back into whatever liquid it was before instantaneously. But, drinking from it directly (and cutting one’s lip in the process) allows one to drink of the ambrosia. It is the single greatest tasting drink one will ever enjoy in their life, and what’s more, a single goblet’s worth of the stuff is enough to make even the hardiest person to become suddenly drunk as a skunk moments after drinking it.

Strong currents or waves however will knock them over, and they themselves are not immune to the sea and risk themselves greatly if they are pulled under. Description: A chunk of crystal akin to black glass, about the size and rough shape of a human heart. Within, it glows a soft ivory hue.
Effect: Upon holding it in hand and selecting a target within 10b, it can be willed to extract a negative memory or fear and be learned by the wielder through a vague flash of thought. The target can beat a Soul+Determination roll of 3+, but will still feel uncomfortable as if they’ve been shifted through. These memories or fears are at the discretion of the target. They may forget the memory temporarily afterwards, but it’ll return after one hour with more severity, up to the player.

Description: A bejeweled red heart that seems to glow from within.
Effect: When individuals willingly open their minds to the red heart and touch it along with another willing target, they begin to share visions and surface level thoughts between each other. The longer they remain in contact with the heart, the more invasive the thoughts become and the harder it is to break away from contact. If in contact for more than 30minutes, both targets will start to hear demonic whispers in the back of their minds as they share deeper flashes of vital memories. If in contact for every hour after first touch, they must roll a Mind+Determination and get 3 successes in order to break free, or be stuck dwelling deeper between their invasive communion. It becomes dull after at least one target breaks contact and cannot be used until an ooc day passes. The targets are free to break away through their own will before an hour lapses.

They move within the same speed they walk or run and can carry things they would normally be able to carry. Long ranged weapons are used at a disadvantage. It lasts for an hour.

The light is always red, and beyond the ten block border the light seems to darken. If dented or broken, the lantern seems to reform itself...

Name: The Black Book (Bound to Dranoden)
Description: An Infernal tome bound in demon leather. Glyphs and symbols are etched upon it, and a large circle with a triangle within is most notable. Each filled parchment page seems to hold a contract, signed in blood.
Effect: The Black Book works in a similiar manner to Fiendish Contracts, though is more physical and cannot be dismissed. A target and the contracter the book is bound to must sign their signatures in blood after the details of their deal/s are written. The targets within the book are bound to carry it out- regardless of turning Abysmal or not - and feel themselves tetthered to the Contractor. If the Contract is broken willingly or by force (through means of Divine Intervention or through DM discretion), a curse will be enacted. The curse lifts by Divine means or if the Book holder releases them.
[The Curse] The broken contract will receive a searing brand upon one of their palms that never quite heals and faintly glows red, always carrying a moderately burning pain that is difficult to ignore. It can be temporarily healed by magical means, but comes back after a few days. They feel as if they are being perpetually watched, having nightmares of persecution. If the curse is lifted, they will be left with a scar of the brand.

The more heavier armor one wears, the slower they move in speed and those in full armor cannot lift from the ground at all. Description: A red crystal estoc that seems to have almost small veins through its center. The hilt and crossguard are of a dark steel, but hold faint runic symbols all over the surface unknown to any mortal man.
Effect: This blade has all the properties of high quality steel, and can be treated as such, but should the blade ever be broken, it bleeds as if arteries have been severed. Should any Blessed individual touch the blade, they feel a stinging sensation as blood is drawn to the surface of their skin.

Physical Description: A round shield in the Blackrush style. Despite being made of wood, the material seems petrified and bronzed in appearance.
Ability: The shield is remarkably durable, resistant to wear and with wood as strong as steel. It absorbs limitless thermal energy without being damaged, diffusing it into the environment over time, but does not extend that immunity to anything touching it. If enough heat builds up, it will ignite flammable materials on contact, leaving burns despite feeling cold to the touch.

Description: A golden chain with a single pink gemstone in the shape of a heart upon it.
Effect: The wearer of this necklace seems to hold some quality considered appealing to the beholder, changing depending on who gazes upon them. Be it long dark hair, or soft blue eyes, and so on, at the choice of the beholder. Once per day, providing they have eye contact with a target, they are able to coerce them to speak of something they like, enjoy, or love. It can be as simple as a favourite drink or as dramatic as a love interest, at their choice.

Description: A small black box engraved with odd runes and patterns, with a simple silver clasp that holds it closed.
Effect: Once per day, the box may be opened, and as a result all in a radius (yell chat) are able to hear a harrowing shrieking sound for up to five minutes, the box closing itself after that duration if it has not been closed already. This will effect even the holder of the box.

Name: Mark of the Unchained
Description: A navy tattoo appears upon the target, of a seaserpent curled around a lighthouse. When touched by water, it glows softly.
Effect: Scales of purple, blue and seagreen sheen begin to grow on forearms, legs and fleck around the neck. They sometimes glimmer white under light. The target's eyes carry flecks of white in them. They feel a serenity within them and beneath it, the feeling of a brewing storm that weighs them. The tattoo carries something ancient and unexplained within it. If anything occurred to the vessel, it would be dire.

Name: Flaming Sword of Balance
Description: A rather regular short sword, perfectly balanced. The keen observer would see the part where the blade and the grip meet has a black line that is so dark that you cannot quite focus your sight on it.
Effect: Anyone wielding this item with malicious intend will notice that the sword comes alight with dark flames the moment they would strike at an opponent. The flames are hot enough to burn skin, but can't burn through metal. The light they produce is not much more than that of a single candle. The flames will light at the wielder's intend.
Curse: Whoever wields this sword will find that their skin is heavily burnt after the flames go back out. During the flaming, no hurt is felt. However, after the sword has gone back to normal, patches on their skin will show severe third grade burn marks exactly in the shape of the blade - as if a red hot blade has been laid upon their back/stomach/arm/leg/ wherever the burn appears.
