Childhood: The origins of Charlotte du Asche are as uncertain as they come. Charlotte made her first appearance in our story off the cost of Linlea aboard one of the many plague ships that swarmed the island when word of a cure and refuge spread across the land. Her mother making the trip across the sea in hopes of saving her own life and the life of her newborn child. Sadly, it was not meant to be as the struggles of the two had only just begun. Chaos erupted across many of the ships as they closed in on the island. Those controlled by the entity took to crashing many of the ships into the harbor, leaving those sick but not controlled by the entity to spill forth and swarm upon the island to try to escape the plague beasts that began to run rampant. It was in this chaos that Charlotte's mother lost her life, but the trip was not in vain as, by the grace of the divines, Charlotte survived.
During the chaos of the events on Linlea, the infant Charlotte was discovered by Jaden Seeker and Charles Kane and eventually taken inland to be cured of the plague that her mother lost her life to. After these events, Charlotte was taken in by Jaden to the Ranger Manor within Queensport. It was here she was born under the care of Jaden. She has spent the previous 4 years there in Queensport, growing up among the other rangers Ayda, Joseph, and Reivos. As well as staying up in the castle from time to time which she enjoys greatly, staying in the room from Elizabeth Kane's childhood and exploring as much as she can of the huge castle and spending time with Elizabeth, Charles, Niko, and Podric.
She is very much your average child, loving to explore and ask many a question, she is rarely ever found alone as she is surrounded by a plethora of people whom she regards as family. She is very much ignorant to the struggles that she experienced at the beginning of her life and simply lives her life out as a happy inquisitive child. She loves to learn new things and can be found constantly wandering around with only a hundred questions ready for anyone she can find to bombard them with. She has learned much from her new family already but it is impossible to know what direction she will go in life.
