[City Notice] Emergency Procedures

Citizens of Tambry, by the order of Acting Cavalier Captain Nikolche Variclav, preparations for the coming undead crisis have been made to ensure your safety. While there are procedures in place, all civilians are still urged to evacuate to the Quays where trade frigates have been secured to accept any and all refugees. The following are active countermeasures to assure that Tambry will not fall.​

• A constant watch of the southern border of the city from a newly erected watchtower is being performed. Should even a single zombie rise above the horizon, the guard on watch will sound the alarm via a gigantic horn. Once that horn is sounded, the city will enter into battle stations and any civilians who will have remained will have to fortify themselves within a secure location.
• Any citizens living outside the main islands of Tambry, this includes the Noble District to the east, must relocate within the safety of the moats and the River Tam; temporary housing will be available for those who need to relocate. Once that horn is sounded, all ancillary bridges will immediately be either raised or destroyed. Do not even attempt to swim across when the alarm sounds, all entrances from the docks or otherwise will have been sealed.
• Do not touch any random barrel or crate with a black X found lying on the street, or especially on top of a bridge. That container is likely to contain black powder and it shall be used to quickly and efficiently demolish any infrastructure that will compromise the safety of the city and its people.
• The only way in and out of the city that will remain open shall be the main drawbridge to the North of the city. During undead incursions, that bridge will be raised immediately and any civilians who chose to stay must find themselves within a secure location.
• Do not under any circumstances enter the sewers, they are the exact opposite of a secure location. No guards shall be able to defend you should zombies make their way inside.
• Any manhole cover shall no longer exist. The hole left by their absence will be sealed with stone.
• The bridge across the canal dividing the two islands of Tambry shall be demolished and walls shall be raised along the borders of the canals. There is a bridge three stories above the ground across two buildings that is covered on all sides and that will become the main way to traverse across the two islands.

Listen to all guards and be ready for further instruction. Tambry shall stand!

Oh, I am planning for this to be the site of Altera's Last Stand if the DM's and staff think it will be appropriate.

Addendum:

The armies of undead may destroy our cities, but they cannot and shall not destroy the knowledge we acquired. If you have a book, any book, send it to the Quays where it will transported with all evacuees. The hundreds of books contained within the Great Library of Tambry shall also be sent to the Quays for safe preservation. In times of war it is important for us to not lose what we have worked so hard to gain.

Oh, I am planning for this to be the site of Altera's Last Stand if the DM's and staff think it will be appropriate.

And if it falls you can always retreat to an actual impenetrable and defendable fortress.

Addendum:

To those who built docks along the canal in Cochran, remove your boats and any belongings from them now. They will be walled off and demolished for the protection of the city. Remember, zombies can swim.​
