Knowledge must be restored, for it has been taken.
It belongs to peace, to discovery, and to exploration.
Know shall guide us upon this path, onwards.
The Sect of the Scholarly is a collective of Scholars, Sages, and Mages whom respect and seek the peace of Knowledge once more within the realm. They uphold their values in the natural doctrine of what Silas left behind, and in turn offer it up to the Figment Know.
It is the Sect's goal to empower Know to the state of Godhood, and take the mantle of Knowledge from the Watcher and bring it under him for safe-keeping, and a haven for scholars once more to celebrate and study their work and accomplishments within the mortal realm. Thus, it is their goal to spread this message far and wide, and uphold the ideals of what Silas left behind.
The Sect of the Scholarly seeks to restore the sanctity of knowledge. It believes that knowledge should be used for peace, prosperity, and a deeper understanding of the world. They protect it from those who wish to use it for hunger, danger, and power.
A discussion of a Figment.
The musings of conversations on the first summoning of Know, gauging what may come from him and what he may offer unto the Sect.
To Know or not to Know.
The first experience of the Sect witnessing the power of Know. An offering, some questions, and a plan is made for the future. It seals the mission of the Sect.

One Final Meeting.
The Sect meets to discuss the recent summoning of Know, and the path forward. They being bringing more members into the fold, and decide on the nature of how the heresy should be approached.
Know thyself, Know thy enemy.
After Athryl's kidnapping and torture from the Exalted of Ignis and Valiant, the Sect convenes once more to ask of Know more knowledge, and introduce others to the future of what may come. An offering is given, notable Silas' Tome and the Staff he once gave his Exalted. This meeting seals the connection of Know to the Scholarly, and what may come of it in the future.
A Sermon.
An offering to Know. A history of Silas. Musings from the Figment on the nature of Athryl. An Artifact Granted. Know gifts them a way to commune, and a quest for the future.
A Gift of Knowledge.
The Sanctum of Knowledge being completed, the Scholars anoint this holy space to Know. In the same vein, they offer up the quest that Know has granted them - knowledge on the Demons, who they are, and what they may want. The Scholars complete a full tome of such knowledge, called "Demons, and the Realm We Face." Know accepts the offering, and offers up a following quest for the Sect.
The Communication Tome
DESCRIPTION: A tome of deep blue leather, seemingly worn and ancient but still reliable and sturdy. The pages are faded, and all ink appears as a blue hue - though writing seems to fade into the pages after around fifteen minutes.
PASSIVE: Those within whisper range find their minds clear, emotions stable, and memory impeccable. Faint glowing letters and phrases from generic known works are seen within the radius when the book is held.
[ABILITY - INQUIRE]: Once per month, they are able to write a question within the pages of the tome, which will find a written answer in return some time later. These questions and answers will stay until resolved, but fade by the time of the next question. All ink is deep blue. Note: Make a Lore ticket when asking the query.

The Sect has several members within its Collective. Those that worship Know, those that wish to Empower him, and those that simply wish to see knowledge restored to its proper space. All are welcome within the Sect. There are Mages, Scholars, and those in between who grace the halls of the Sanctum of Knowledge, offering up what they can to bring peace once more. These individuals are not publicly known, nor will they ever be. Their protection is their identity, and it must remain such.
Anyone interested in joining the Sect of the Scholarly is welcome. They simply need to speak to a scholar, and the word shall travel to Athryl Mithtanil, the Sage.

The two 'heretical' cults have found common ground in destabilizing Visage and restoring ancient Gods.
This cult is a fun way for folks who are scholars, adventurers, or riskier heretics to get involved in the Figment and Divine scene. Our goals are super ambitious, and we know that. We are looking forward to how we may shape the server in a brand new sort of way, and take some cool risks along the way. As the Apostles said in their thread on the nature of the Gods:
"Since the lore surrounding gods, figments – and everything in between – has changed several times over the years, it’s become somewhat difficult to keep track of what it really takes to ‘revive’ a god (if even possible at all) or to create a new one. The precedent set by Valiant’s court leads us to believe that gods never truly die, and will always exist somewhere in the cosmos as some sort of fragment of their old self. At least- for as long as they are thought of, even if they only occupy the minds of a handful of people."
It is thus our goal to try and empower and embolden Know to the state of Godhood, and have some fun player conflict in taking the mantle of Knowledge.
