Clan Politics
Inner Relations -

Family Line: Line of succession tends to stay in the family. However, it is not determined by birth or gender. Due to the long lifespan of Moor Elves, they name a successor from among their kin. While not impervious to a vengeful relative trying to claim the right thereafter, much of these dramatics are able to be sorted before succession.

Outer Relations -

Foreign Politics have long since been held in disdain by the current leaders of Linlea. Many alliances have led to wars, battles and loss of loved ones with little gain to show for it. Linlea remains neutral to outer politics and discourage it from taking effect and root upon the land. With such views, relations with other nations are restricted to trade agreements and cooperative, arms-length contracts in normal times.

Despite this viewpoint, Linlea and leaders of Linlea are often looked to in times of continent wide epidemics due to their station and choice of landscape. For the prospect of keeping the realm alive, they lower their gates to welcome refugees and haven seekers, neutral to most- until a time comes when the realm is safe once more.

Guilds, House & Clan Relations:

Mok:

◊ Clan Hal'Ulamyar - Friendly. The daughter of the Veiloros Clan has come into her own and procured land, power and a family. Albeit there is a mix of culture involved, she has promised to uphold Moorish Culture within her family of Moors and Silver Elves. Ayda Hal'Ulamyar is considered a matriarch of her noble Clan and Kov'Gra'Sek plans to see it through its growth. Kov'Gra'Sek recognizes this clan as a potential Elder Clan. Ayda
◊ Clan Shink'maho - Neutral. Previously in good standing, relations had soured over time due to bloodshed caused by Shink'maho upon Kov'Gra'Sek, but not without reasoning. Cold conflict only festered until a brief lapse to mend relations were attempted during an unplanned run-in at Whiterock with Tol'fen'ke Lillium. It is also known that Shink'maho housed and raised young Olive during Linlea's time of absence in the realm. For now, relations are limited to acknowledgments of existence as their lands are too far for trade to establish, or for meetings to naturally occur. Kov'Gra'Sek recognizes this clan as an Elder Clan. Cukie1
◊ Clan Zima'maloj - Neutral. The daughter of Thannis (disowned by his Clan for atrocities) and the Arget Isles carries the name Zima'maloj through a conversation with Ashna Kov'Gra'Sek. However, it is uncertain if Moorish culture is maintained within the family and it remains to be seen. Kov'Gra'Sek recognizes Zima'maloj as once a Moorish Clan, at the least. Lady Alec
◊ Clan Veiloros - Removed/Disfavored. With this disbanded Clan's involvement in the death of their adopted daughter, Clan Veiloros is not considered a noble or elder clan of the Kov'Gra'Sek Moors. ShaolinPunk
◊ Clan Natri'zima - Removed. With the death of Dar'ket Natrizima, the will of the last member of the family entails this Clan has been disbanded and withdrawn into Kov'Gra'Sek through payment and wealth. The last recognized and remaining member of Natri'zima, a priestess of the gentler Pantheon member Shalherana, does not carry the Clan name and Fulgrim Natri'zima has been disowned- therefor, not recognized as a Patriarch of the Clan. Kov'Gra'sek marks this Clan as disbanded. MaelstromPuddle

Kreesh'Mok:

◊ Rangers Guild - Friendly/Neutral. In the past, relations with the Rangers have varied during the early days of Grafjell. During Ashna and Laerornor’s reign, relations began to mend under threats of the outside realm. As the Rangers changed hands under Dayter and Jaden Seeker’s leadership, there has been an understanding of equal protection and shelter.
◊ The Black Company - Neutral/Soured. Relations with the Black Company have been limited. Recognized as a strong fighting force, the Black Company has been given work in the past. Recent events have led to them abandoning the isles in favor of refuge in other lands. This is in part due to a strong belief that they should be allowed actions outside the law of the isles, whatever the action, be it needless or with purpose. Currently, one member of the company is banished from the isles.
◊ The Arget Isles - Friendly. Both Isles of Elven leadership have chosen to be secluded and isolated in the past. However, Linlea tends to harbor more refugees during times of strife and are privy to more conflict around their waters due to their Trade with different lands. A stable relationship is still kept, despite the differences between these lands.
◊ The Astrum Isles - Neutral. Neighbors of the Ashlands, the Astrum Isles are regarded in neutral and steady relations. They tend to share the same immediate imports, albeit there has been strains to be unique. During the Blight Plague, Astrum has come to aid Linlea as it was open to refuge and aid the outside realm.
◊ House Kane - Neutral/Mutual Agreements. In the past, relations between the Kanes and Kov’Gra’Sek were non-existant. In such light, as the other nations lacked trade routes with the Kanes, there were attempts to begin it when Charles Kane took up leadership. With this established, under the leadership of Duke Charles and Countess Elizabeth Kane, Kov’Gra’Sek and Kane have a mutual goal to combat the Blight Plague and the enemies that cluster under it. Kov’Gra’Sek have opened their isle’s to shelter the refugees the Kanes have chosen to lead. In turn, the resources brought forth are utilized by the Kanes to combat the enemies that have set their eyes upon them all.
◊ House Hawklight - Neutral. Hawklight has attempted distant peace during times of Axex’s reign. Even then, there had been understanding that during times of strife, alliances were strained due to the many different members of Council presiding over Hawklights involvement with Kov’Gra’Sek. With such views, Hawklight is viewed as a distant relation of the past and there has been little pursuit to revive relations under its new reign, as the Talon Isles continue to remain secluded from the outside realms.
◊ Artois - Neutral. Not much is known in relations and regards between Kov'Gra'Sek and Artois. What was once led by Maceo De'Courtnay now remains to be seen. Previously, there was a strained neutrality as worshippers of Ignis Synnove and the isolated lands of Linlea held little connection, save for there mutual dislike against Skraag and Jishrim worshippers. These relations are uniquely religious-based, if at all.
◊ House Varyn - Neutral. There is little established relation between Kov'Gra'Sek and Varyn. What history does hold is aid given during times of continent-wide strife only recently in the Eastern Continent. Not out of any specific reason, save for survival. Godric Varyn had sacrificed himself to kill the Skeletal minions that haunted Linlea before the Holy Wars and James Varyn, a nephew, resides there with family during the Blight Plague. All other relations with the House and its occupants are non-existent.
◊ House Fuvur - Neutral/Soured. The current standing between Kov’Gra’Sek and Fuvur has undergone pull and strife spanning time periods of aid during the Eastern Continent migration and observation of war with the Anhald Empire and Cymic Seymour in Halbed. Along with past cold wars, Nwalme Fuvur has decided to side in air of Skraag’s cultists, publicly. This is in opposition with the Grey Isle’s patron, The Grey Lady, and it’s stance on neutrality among nations. As such, trade has ceased with this Empire.
◊ House Seymour - Neutral/Removed. Kov'Gra'Sek acknowledges this House exists, but after a battle upon their bay between Fuvur and Seymour, trade and neutral relations between them had ceased. There has been no push to mend it with Cymic Seymours absence. Ventare Seymour, Priest of the Grey Lady, is held with well regard in Kov'Gra'Sek, at the least.
◊ House Hallon - Neutral/Removed. Kov’Gra’Sek had little interaction with House Hallon, under Anhald, until they were openly threatened with their involvement in the planning of an Elven City near their lands continent. Because of such, and with the blasphemous attempts of Archaeus Fronte in attacking the city of Blackwater, whilst naming the Tol’fen of Grafjell as part of his attack- The Kaiser of Anhald at the time had threatened to ruin Grafjell. A period of cold war and strained relations continued during this height of tensions, until Tol’fen’ko Laerornor and son of the Kaiser, Charles I, came to a peaceful agreement. Around the same time, Anhald had given the Clan word of life in the Eastern Continent, potential protected land from the Undead that swarmed the Northern Kingdoms. After the migration and several years later, the Tol’fen’ke of Kov’Gra’Sek was caught in a feud between Anhald and Fuvur during a peace treaty. It is uncertain if Anhald had direct involvement with her disappearance, or if it was something else. Since then, relations with Anhald have been kept at bay as new hands claim its Kaisership and its lands shift in borders. Distant.

There is no such thing as House Anhald. Anhald is the name of the political and cultural state and the race of humans that inhabit it. The house is Hallon.

Corrected. Same goes for Artois, but I'll wait to be corrected.

It’s been awhile, but I don’t remember us making an Artesien house. We did, however, make a ‘guild’ and called it the Church of Ignis. Regardless, Artois /was/ a dual-duchy. Henri handled the earthly side of affairs and Maceo the spiritual side. Granted, who knows what it is now.
