Introduction: The Dralkenroot is a grey slender plant, the looks slightly like a upside down carrot, For some reason it grows up and out of the soil, rather then down into it, no one is sure why.
Name: The Dralkenroot was given it's name due to it's appearance, It rough skin and grey color, makes it looks very odd, and it is indeed a root.
Medical Usage: When shredded, and mixed with sugar, it becomes a very helpful medical, curing most sickness due to orientation (motion sickness, sea sickness, Dizziness) and also is a mild anti-depressant . This can be quite helpful, since you can simply shred a bit and re-plant it, letting it heal.
Wicked Usage: With Dralkenroot, You must be careful, Over dosing isn't to much of a problem, but it isn't fun if you do. Having to much Dralkenroot, numbs your Orientation completely, you may feel heavy or wanting to sit/stand on a certain angle, or even not be able to properly walk. And a very large amount would cause headaches, dizziness and depression. Have no worry's , It will eventually work it's way from your body.
Common Usage: Some of the common uses if to plant it around a area, seeming like spike come from the ground, Or to take a batch with you on a ship, Curing any one who isn't fond of the sea.
Rarity: you are most likely to find Dralkenroot In hot shady places, you'll most likely see it poking from the ground in patches from 5-8

Size: With right resources around it, it can grow about a meter and a half tall ( 1 1/2 blocks). Though this is uncommon, it can happen.
Lifetime: This plant usually grows in fall, and dies mid winter. A short lifetime in nature but will last about 1/2 a year if tended properly.
Appearance: A tall, Grey shoot with a pointed tip, usually pointing towards the sky. Have a rough, grainy skin and a light grey color. When in a small state, it looks like a dried up evil carrot, And in a bigger state, maybe defensive spikes. At the bottom of the stalk, there are small round leaves, a good lot of them, most people assume this is how the Dralkenroot gets nutrients.

Seems it works on a matter of pH balance. Might also be a mild depressant.
I'd think in a high enough dosage it could cause depression, headaches, and oddly enough nausea.
My two cents.
