- THE DRAUGR -
[ Limited to Event Staff ]

Overview
Beings caught between the living and eternal death range in many forms. Draugr are such beings- taking an animated form of their corpse. They rise from improper burials by a sole, unsettled will. Some may have had no burials at all. They are more often linked to being passionate once-mortals that have now become furious beings. They carry out gruesome and violent hauntings, relating in some way to them, in order to ease their broken hearts and lost passion.

Their appearance is often grotesque, carrying a reek of decay, and distortion of what they once looked like. Their shape shifts to a form that represents who they once were, often in mockery by enhancing certain traits of their physical self. Their eyes become piercing icy-blue.

Draugrs have both anima and mens.

Abilities
Draugr are physical, like the Ghoul, their corpse is deteriorating as any in its phases of decay. They aren’t powerful, but have a little more strength behind them than normal undead.

They can cause physical disturbances to a minimal effect. They can shift objects, flicker lights, cause a room to be colder and create noises. A Draugr can't speak to the living, nor are they interested enough to, but they’re able to interact by sound and mimics- hinging solely on their will and nothing new or beyond what they knew while alive. They are more active at night.

Location
Draugr are tied to a certain place that relates to them in some way during their past life. They may leave the area to carry out hauntings, but never stay far away too long in order to recuperate. Those who haunt too far begin to decay rapidly and become weak.
