BACKSTORY: I write this to you, my future grandchildren, in hopes you will better understand my life. I grew up in Port Silver with your great grandfather Murdock. He taught me all there is to know about cooking. Then at the age of 15 my father died and I moved in with my fathers head cook at his restaurant. I could live with him for free if I cleaned dishes. Eventually I worked my way up to chef. I worked there for 10 years until it burnt down. Then I went from resturant to resturant searching for enough money to build up my own resturant, and I have finally found it.
